The one concern I have is Newt needs more foot soldiers on the ground in various states to get the petitions signed and ensure his name is on the ballot. Takes a ton of work and organization.

This is incredible. I have a right shoulder problem right now so bad I’ve taken a pain pill. Can’t use my right arm to do anything but type, so I’m sitting here sort of buzzed out by the pill, and watching these great numbers come in today, both in Florida and nationally.

Need to go to Newt’s website and send more money. I pray Newt wins. Obama will get jelly legs when he’s at the first debate. How wonderful that will be.

The best thing to come out of this will be after Newt gets crushed in the General. At last the party will wake up to the fact that they are the party of old men and Mormon haters. This is good news.

Come on you guys! What is this Bash Newt Day? I personally don’t like Newt but I will vote for him. It’s time to put all these conspiracy theories of the week to rest and concentrate on a strategy to win our country back. Newt was the last congressional leader to get anything conservative done. He has stood head and shoulder s above the rest in the debates. He has vision, eloquence and direction. His personal life is not as squirrelly as JFK, Clinton, and a host of others. Yes, I want the perfect candidate (Palin not running!) But Newt is what we’ve got and lets go out and smash this antiamerican, socialist radical, manchurian President who has tried to destroy everything the Republic has stood for!

Gingrich is the medias choice to run against Zero. They’ll have much dirt to dig with his ex-wives during the general election.

But unlike Cain, Newts dirty laundry is all OLD news and everybody already knows. Guess what? Nobody cares. When push comes to shove, even the evangelicals will forgive him because he did seek out God and has led a reformed life for the last 15 years. Can't say that about anybody on the opposite side. That's what will bring us together and what will bring Obama down. That's how Newt can run up these spectacular numbers with a puny staff and paltry funds. Everybody knows the score. All the Newt bashers on FR should recognize that and just get with the program now or you'll simply be helping the other side give Obama another term. That's the threat. Disaffected "conservatives" like that loon Ron Paul and his followers who will cry and scream and pout and he'll run third party and THAT will be our downfall.

Man, it gets better for Newt 54-8 vs Mittens, in the "likely to vote" group. Or, is that, it gets worse for Mittens. I think people are coming to their senses.

That said, I stll have pause backing Newt, ie Pelosi on the couch, guns, immigration...but, he is ABR (Anybody but Romney).

The disconnect between Republican voters and Romney is shocking. He has the best resume, best looks, best name recognition, cleanest personal life and highest praise from the main stream media. He should be at 40% without trying, but apart from his core support he’s been overlooked by the vast majority of Republicans for a succession of flash in the pan candidates and, now, but a very flawed candidate. He has seriously misjudged the level of antipathy voters feel toward a northeast liberal governor who has tried to morph himself into a conservative in order to get elected.

Really don’t think so. Newt’s been married now for quite a while to this Callista lady. And by that time, ppl will have extreme Bimbo Fatigue from reading about Cain.

I worry about dirt now being dug up on Calista. She is an unknown individual. Good luck to her.

Add to this - he has said, per the following - that he is thinking of West or Rubio for VP

quote: “Gingrich reportedly mentioned West, along with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), earlier this week as possible vice presidential candidates on his hypothetical ticket.

West said he would have to pray about and discuss the opportunity with his family, but he promised: “If I can make a difference, then I’ll answer that call.”

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/196181-rep-west-cain-should-move-on-from-the-race

Now, Sarah for Energy SEc for 8 yrs - then Pres. Allen West and VP Sarah for 8 years...the Pres. Sarah for 8 yrs -

AFter 24 years of ‘us’ in charge, the progressives would be long forgotten by the Sheeple and would take decades to regroup - but hopefully, people will remember the signs and shut them down fast.

(If he chooses Rubio or West (I’m for West) - they would do a clean sweep in Florida. There would be no need for recalls!)

It’s real. Based on the current polling, Cain, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum, Huntsman, and others should drop out to enable a conservative presidential victory.

This was pathetic and childish when Perry was at the top and Perry supporters were claiming that Cain/Bachmann/Gingrich should drop out so that a conservative can win, and it's pathetic and childish when a Gingrich supporter does the same thing.

Romney is going to lose. He can't raise his numbers, and surprisingly they've even gone down.

Let things play out - this ain't 2008, the Tea Party is here and is going to make its presence known.

Shocking indeed. I expect Mittens to make more personal attacks and act more desperate as we get closer to January. I think it's finally sinking in that he's in serious trouble.

I hope he appoints Rudy as Attorney General - next to the mob, twinkletoes and his commies are a piece of cake. Hey, Joe - order some more pink underwear.

Oh right! He's already mentioned Col. West or Rubio as possible VP pick -

Now, how about this:

Pres. New Gingrich

V.P. Col. Allen WEst

AG: Rudy Guliano

Energy Sec: Sarah Palin

these four could whip this country back into shape so fast the 'enemies domestic' would be committing hari hari

Most people are already aware of all the OLD baggage - and those who aren't, will be well aware long before the general - so no one will be much interested and will "ho hum' it.

Nice try tho'
