There are now 34 members of Congress calling for Attorney General Eric Holder’s immediate resignation, as four more called for Holder to step down on Wednesday.
The new members calling for Holder’s resignation are Republican Reps. Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan, Diane Black of Tennessee, Bob Latta of Ohio and Kenny Marchant of Texas.
“I call upon Attorney General Holder to resign his post as our nation’s top law enforcement official,” Marchant said .. “Ever since the first details of Operation Fast and Furious emerged, Attorney General Holder has been less than forthright with Congress as to his knowledge of Fast and Furious. Unfortunately, this ill-conceived operation has already led to the killing of a border patrol agent.”
Marchant questions Holder’s testimony before Congress at a May 3 Judiciary Committee hearing, during which he said he hadn’t learned of Operation Fast and Furious until a few weeks earlier — even though Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley told TheDC he personally handed Holder a letter on the topic months earlier when the attorney general was in his office. Senior aides also sent Holder numerous briefing memos on the subject, including the name and intimate details of the failed operation, as early as July 2010. Holder now claims he didn’t read the memos.
Another reason it appears as though Holder lied to Congress on May 3 is that President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton both discussed Operation Fast and Furious in media interviews about a month before Holder claims he knew of it. Republican Reps. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina and Jason Chaffetz of Utah have asked Obama to clarify how he was able to speak about Operation Fast and Furious in a media interview while Holder was apparently, at least according to his claims, unaware of the operation.

This behavior was CRIMINAL, involved murder, and had the intent of taking away the civil rights of all American citizens.
His resignation is NOT enough.
We must demand punitive repeals of some current gun control laws for the illegal actions of our Government. Some control must be surrendered by the Federal Government for what has transpired.
Please write to your congressman and senators and when you do, CC Mr. Issa on the letter. Ask for repeal of the sporting purpose clause of the 1968 GCA. Ask for repeal of the multiple firearm reporting requirement. Ask for repeal of the Hughes Amendment. Ask for repeal of the NFA. Ask for repeal of ALL Government exemptions to firearms restrictions.
Mr. Issa is aware of this initiative. Please help by sending in letters and demanding punitive repeals of laws for what has transpired.

I think the house is playing its cards well. Torture obuma and holder with this for a year by trickling out pieces and bits, and then indict that racist, murdering bastard right before the election.
Yes...indict him before the election...but do not convict until after Obama leaves office. That way, Obama cannot pardon him and the new President can remove him in chains.

If the inept media would have reported this with the outrage they covered Ashcroft draping the boobs on a statue, Holder would have been long gone by now. Sick of how they treat this administration with velvet gloves and blinders.

That's what the impeachment process is for. I'll bet that at least enough RATs would vote in favor of impeachment and removal to make it stick. Why would they do this? Well maybe to show their constituents they deserve to be reelected and not tossed out on their ears for following a POTUS that's a communist version of the Mad Hatter. In any case, my guess is that the OBOZOs would have to sit up and take notice even if it all amounts to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

There is a PART of me that wants Holder to hold on, to thrash around, and bleed, and scream with this mortal political wound, and so bring his party down and down and down over the course of months. And then get fired, and then bring down POTUS.
I think if he goes too quickly there will be a new perception of the need to call it all finished, fair is fair.
I don’t want that because it goes HIGHER than Holder, and broader, too —there needs to be MANY casualties and very high costs for F&F.
The enemedia will never do the honest reporting, so the likelihood of all the criminal eliment being exposed is less than zero. When a racist criminal commie runs the unJustice Department, you cannot expect truth in the Republic media, because the media hate this nation as conceived.
Obama has no intention of asking him to resign NO MATTER WHAT.
It would be great to see a series of indictments thrown down any day, but it would create chaos to wait until the day after Obama has the Democrat nomination sealed up. We lose count of the actions that could be the source of indictments. And when will Congress start rejecting his ridiculously illegal executive orders? Congress has enough Republicans to overturn these banana republic e.o.’s!
Gonna be an real interesting winter and spring .. and a lollapalooza of a summer..
