Pittsburgh: Gov. Rick Perry's Full Remarks on Energizing American Jobs
The central issue facing Americans is a lack of jobs.
The plan I present this morning, Energizing American Jobs and Security, will kick-start economic growth and create 1.2 million jobs.
It can be implemented quicker and free of Washington gridlock because it doesn't require congressional action. Through a series of executive orders, and other executive actions, we will begin the process of creating jobs soon after the inauguration of a new president.
The quickest way to give our economy a shot in the arm is to deploy American ingenuity to tap American energy. But we can only do that if environmental bureaucrats are told to stand down.

Tap our domestic energy resources, curtail the EPA, create jobs.
Executive orders???
Sounds like he forgot we’re not a dictatorship...
Perry ping
I have a “Jobs plan”, but it includes LIMITED government and morals and values. I assume that all these Harvard graduates are WAY too smart to adopt such a simple plan.
Umm... wait... WHAT??? Perry has officially jumped the shark. GET OUT OF THE RACE NOW!!!
Who?
Finally! Some policy substance.
I hope the Governor can explain this and sell it. He needs some public attention for workable policies. No more sidebar issues.
Is this for Mexico or US? I forgot which country he prefers.
Let’s get serious: If you want jobs for Americans (as opposed to, say, illegal parasites) here are few simple suggestions to Jose Perry:
- mandate e-verify
- build the border fence (lets start with 150 miles initially in key areas - these are shovel ready jobs)
- send the illegals home and stop the taxpayer incentives to illegals
Uh, the places off-limits to drilling are largely defined by Congress and the states themselves. This ain’t Texas, and oil ain’t Gardasil.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Perry is a thug, just like obama, Clinton, and all the rest of his statist democrap friends.
He would make a great president, I’m convinced of that.
But it doesn’t look like he can surmount the 3 big obstacles:
1. The sudden cottage industry of “conservative” lies about Perry’s actual positions.
2. Perry’s nearly total inability to speak for himself, defend himself, and articulate his positions.
3. The absolute disarray among “conservatives” who have no real concept of what is necessary to stop Romney. (They actually believe that Cain can do it.)
Bottom line: I do not believe Perry has a chance. I think he’s pretty much out of it. And maybe, because of #2, that’s the way it should be. How is Perry going to debate Obama? How’s he going to do that?
Ya, but I’m all for an executive order removing any EO Obama put in place... it’ll take an act of congress and an amendment to the constitution to limit the scope of EO’s, which I’d be for.
This is the main pronblem I have with things he has done as governor. Texas is intentionally a weak-governor state, but Perry pushed through the whole gardasil issue by essentially the same tactics of executive order.
Perry plans to annex the US to Mexico by exeuctive order on his first day in office.
Blingrich wants to implement at least 50 EO’s the first day he is sworn in.
Yes, a fence really keeps them out...
Drug Smugglers Tunnel Into Arizona Parking Spaces
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/drug-smugglers-tunnel-arizona-parking-spaces/story?id=14722556
“Drug smugglers are endlessly creative when it comes to inventing ways to move marijuana, cocaine and other contraband from Mexico into the United States.
In the latest innovation uncovered by law enforcement, smugglers in the border town of Nogales, Arizona were bringing drugs into the U.S. for the cost of a quarter.
The parking meters on International Street, which hugs the border fence in Nogales, cost 25 cents. Smugglers in Mexico tunneled under the fence and under the metered parking spaces, and then carefully cut neat rectangles out of the pavement. Their confederates on the U.S. side would park false-bottomed vehicles in the spaces above the holes, feed the meters, and then wait while the underground smugglers stuffed their cars full of drugs from below.”
Perry is right — he wants boots on the ground and surveillance. Fence is useless.
But but but....well I guess that’d solve that darn illegal immigration problem.
The scope ov executive orders is already limited.
They only affect Federal employees, and if they are unlawful, they can be blocked by litigation.
Gingy needs to leave the race along with the rickster.
