Is this for Mexico or US? I forgot which country he prefers.

Let’s get serious: If you want jobs for Americans (as opposed to, say, illegal parasites) here are few simple suggestions to Jose Perry:
- mandate e-verify
- build the border fence (lets start with 150 miles initially in key areas - these are shovel ready jobs)
- send the illegals home and stop the taxpayer incentives to illegals

Yes, a fence really keeps them out...

Drug Smugglers Tunnel Into Arizona Parking Spaces

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/drug-smugglers-tunnel-arizona-parking-spaces/story?id=14722556

“Drug smugglers are endlessly creative when it comes to inventing ways to move marijuana, cocaine and other contraband from Mexico into the United States.

In the latest innovation uncovered by law enforcement, smugglers in the border town of Nogales, Arizona were bringing drugs into the U.S. for the cost of a quarter.

The parking meters on International Street, which hugs the border fence in Nogales, cost 25 cents. Smugglers in Mexico tunneled under the fence and under the metered parking spaces, and then carefully cut neat rectangles out of the pavement. Their confederates on the U.S. side would park false-bottomed vehicles in the spaces above the holes, feed the meters, and then wait while the underground smugglers stuffed their cars full of drugs from below.”

Perry is right — he wants boots on the ground and surveillance. Fence is useless.

E-verify is stupid, it is not my job as a business owner to secure the border. The last thing I need is more government in my business because I can never get them out. Added to that it will cause identity theft to increase, not decrease.

You CAN'T FENCE THE RIO GRANDE. By doing so you surrender US Territorial waters to Mexico. We have Ranchers farmers and thousands of other Texans (Americans) that depend on those waters to make a living. If you're solution is strategic fencing, then you actually agree with Perry who not only wants to fence those areas, he wants to man them with the National Guard (with the orders to return fire) and more Boarder Patrol Officers and more modern surveillance and detection. No one else running has a border plan other than to criticize the only guy in the fight that understands the fight. It was Obama that turned off the electronic frontier and stopped the fencing, not Perry.

Tax Payer incentives, Texas has no income tax, our schools are supported by sales taxes and property taxes that the illegals, that we aren't allowed to kick out, have no choice but to pay. Kids outside of Texas are not put at a disadvantage because we allow illegals in-state tuition, they are put at a disadvantage because they are not Texas Residence, just like Texas kids are at a disadvantage in the other 49 (or 56?) States.

Besides, the only "illegals" this will help are kids who can get their status changed to ether permanent resident or get their citizenship. Those are kids who enter the country legally and have visa issues and are waiting for the USCIS to get to them that in 2001 took 3-5 years, after 9/11, 10 if they are lucky.

The typical illegal that enter Texas illegally can not benefit from this program because they cannot get their status changed unless they leave the country and come back in legally. Who is running right now that says they are going to kick all the illegals from Mexico out? Are there illegal enters taking advantage of this program? Yes, but it does them no good because they will never be able to use those degrees. But, that isn't Texas' fault it is the US Government's job to keep them out and the only ones trying to do it is Rick Perry and Jan Brewer.

Give up on the kick them out, the American people have made it clear they do not have the will to do it. I hate it, you hate it, we all hate it, but if the will was there it would have been done already. The US Government has not cared about the US Mexican Border since Patton was down there fighting Pancho Villa. The Rats think they can give them amnesty and turn them into voters, and the Republicans are too afraid that the Rats will win and are afraid to make them angry. That is the reality we live in. Hopefully someone like Perry, who understands what is happening on our border will shine light on it and Americans will change their mind. Also when Perry is talking about "boots on the ground" everyone in Texas and Arizona know what he is talking about, he intends to restore order in Mexico. If you understand the border war we are fighting you will know that it is the only way to win the war. There is a real possibility that by restoring order to Mexico, a good portion of the illegals will leave and return to their homes.

Understand, nobody is swimming across the Rio Grande or crossing the AZ Desert to get a $151 discount at our Jr. Colleges, they are running for their lives and until we address that reality we will never secure the border.
