This is the main pronblem I have with things he has done as governor. Texas is intentionally a weak-governor state, but Perry pushed through the whole gardasil issue by essentially the same tactics of executive order.
Executive orders to repeal executive orders and regulations adopted by Executive branch agencies. That’s an excellent way to quickly make effective changes without having to struggle for months and years through congressional legislation.
