Gary Johnson

Unbelievably, I actually went on 2 driving trips thru Mexico about 30 years ago—I find it hard to believe that I did that and I know now I could not.
Bachmann: “I would go over to the Department of Education, I’d turn off the lights, I would lock the door”
I love it!
Yes, definitely on target. One exception (kind of) re: Newt & Cain...I do like Cain but if I had to choose I think it would be Newt. I’m still not 100% sure Cain wouldn’t make a goofy misstatement or get outhustled by Zero during the debates.
I for one support community colleges and state universities. I personally, being a child of a fairly poor family that did quite well in K-12... would not have been able to achieve higher education without the opportunity given to Calif. residents. Community colleges are a great weeding out of those who are not suitable for University. At least it use to be. All of the affirmative action programs which accept students by means other than grades have bastardized the quality of our universities.
Santorum did have the best answer of the night on the homosexuals in the military question. Nailed it and the people loved it. Get the New Mexico twins off the stage.
Nobody won this debate, Perry lost it.
Pray for America
At best, his statement was misleading, as he made it sound as if he issued his executive order (in part) because of his friendship with Ms. Burcham. Obviously, that wasn't the case.
I pray for America every day.
What I liked is that in the VP question Cain said Newt. Granted Newt declined to say, but, I’m hoping that he takes a good look at Cain
At best, you lack comprehension for what was actually said. At worst, you’re a liar and are being paid by either Obama or Romney.
Newt is a great historian and highly intelligent. I believed in him when he was Speaker of the House, but watched painfully as power went to his head. Effectively nullified him as a player.
Are you saying that you need to be a minority for this one?
Bachmann is a (cue my Jerry Lewis voice) “Nice Lady”.... and she’s always fighting and raising foster kids.... other than that, well shes a “Nice Lady”.
Great piece of circus art!
That $22k per year that Mitt kept puking out is a lie.
Here’s the tuition table from the Univ. of TX for 2010-2011 and it shows for residents that tuition for 12 hours (kids need time to party and work part time, doncha know) is averaging around $4800-$5000. The tuition for the same number of hours by non-residents might be averaging $10,000-$15,000. ........That’s only about a $6000-$10,000 difference; NOT $$22,000. ....Another Romney lie about Perry.

Love De Mint...He probably loves his family too much to put them through this dog and pony show.
That was classic... LOL!
What I liked is that in the VP question Cain said Newt. Granted Newt declined to say, but, Im hoping that he takes a good look at Cain
**********************
Another thing I really like about Cain (silly as it may sound) he seems like he could be my neighbor. Somebody that while doing Sat yard work you would stop to chat with.Something about all the rest seems a bit removed? distant?..can’t put my finger on it.
Santorum to Perry:
“And why should they be given preferential treatment as an illegal in this country? That’s what we’re saying.
(APPLAUSE)
SANTORUM: And so, yes, I would say that he is soft on illegal immigration. I think the fact that he doesn’t want to build a fence — he gave a speech in 2001 where he talked about, buy national health insurance between Mexico and Texas. I mean, I don’t even think Barack Obama would be for buy national health insurance.
So I think he’s very weak on this issue of American sovereignty and protecting our borders and not being a magnet for illegal immigration, yes.
WALLACE: Governor Perry, 30 seconds to respond, sir.
PERRY: I’ve got one question for him.
Have you ever even been to the border with Mexico?
SANTORUM: Yes.
PERRY: I’m surprised if you have, but you weren’t paying attention, because the idea that you —
SANTORUM: Well, the answer is, yes, I have.
PERRY: — are going to build a wall, a fence for 1,200 miles, and then go 800 miles more to Tijuana, does not make sense. You put the boots on the ground.
We know how to make this work. You put the boots on the ground.
You put the aviation assets —
SANTORUM: But it’s not working, Governor.”
Even the candidates, with low poll numbers (for now) bring a lot to the debate.
