“Sliding slower into socialism isnt my idea of hope & change.”
Neither is it mine, but it’s preferable to sliding faster.
Romney says SS isn’t forced on the American people or that its not a absolute failure? Why doesn’t someone nail him on those statements.
Perry is not the choice, do we need another inarticulate Texan? I like him but please.
Pray for America
I disagree. I talk to a lot people and Romney will get massive inde and crossover votes that perry never will.
We have plenty of time left...he beat cancer, don’t count him out here yet either
Oh, I think he’s great. I really like him. He’s smart, likable, and a good talker. Like Sarah, he’s a nice person.
Why not relax and let the primary process unfold?
NO! It is not because I don’t want him to win. Other than Sarah he is my choice but I don’t think he can win. If he could win the nomination, I think he could beat Obama.
Thanks for verifying that I hadn’t found it.
If Sarah does not run, I will be voting for Newt. He is the only other person running who stands a chance of defeating the "nightmare". He is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. He knows the ropes in politics. He was a doer when he was leader of Congress. In office he would need to be kept on the straight and narrow by conservatives. I think he may have learned his lesson on the global warming issue. His personal life is his personal life. If we could put up with Bill Clinton, I think we could survive Newt.
Newt stays in it to guide the debate.
How about Milt’s statement that he was going to be better on gay issues than Ted Kennedy? That’s gonna be a real winner in the primaries. And his full-fledged support of abortion will not be forgotten. Bob
I know what you mean, Mo - I thought of that tonight, for the first time. It has never been about race for me - but then, “O” made a lot of WONDERFUL promises, too - and was lying about every one of them!
Perry doesn’t do well in debates. He’s a slow talker and the time is limited.
I wish everyone had watched Hannity interview him the other night. I thought he was really good and explained things better than he can in a minutes time.
I'm not sure he can on his own. I think he needs to be teamed up with someone like Newt.
Yes he would, problem is he wouldn't do much that was different from Obama. Look at what he did in MA, how weak he was. We need someone who can stop the train, not ride it on down.
One does not have to come out publically to support a particular candidate to be kingmaker. There are other ways. Bringing up the negatives of other candidates, for example, is an action of a kingmaker. Knocking down the opposition of your unannounced favored candidate is very effective.
Everybody has an opinion positive and negative about those up on the stage. Even Sarah Palin. They may not have told you which ones they like but that does not mean they do not have a favorite one.
I really don’t hold your opinion that the majority of Americans today look at the color of the person rather than the merits of that person. Your view is more akin to the view the Democrats have of the people of this country. Rather I think you will see the rabid left wing of this country attack a Cain candidacy and presidency as being an
“Uncle Tom”... which is just about as racist as anyone could get.
One more debate and there will be a huge void to articulate the conservative voice. Perry is absolutely tongue tied and immigration in state tuition is a death nail.
Pray for America
LOL
After all these debates I’ve made up my mind. Cain is the one that I feel comfortable supporting. So I will support him!
Perry really blew it. I knew Romney wasn’t going to make it a clearcut race between the true conservative Perry vs the RINO romney. It’s hard to defend Perry’s stance on college discounts for illegals. And watching Perry speak was like watching Palin respond to Katie Couric. Isn’t it about time we picked a sharp person for a change?
