I’ve been a Newt fan for a few years solely because I think he raises the level of debate. I hope he hangs in there, because he is as brilliant of a national politician as we have these days. Every thing he says makes sense. It’s too bad he stumbled so badly when he first announced his candidacy. It was like he was trying to kill his chances, wasn’t it?
Huh. No wonder I like him.
I think you are wrong about that. perry is done.
That's like saying we need to live in a major city in order to understand their crime waves. Everybody understands Perry has invited and encouraged illegals to enter his state in droves.....his actions and his statements he aligns with Fox in making their borders a communiyt says it all. He will never close the border, and he's failed at securing it with the millions given him by the federal government to do so.
Playing a little gymnastics with the facts is he?
I hate the Luntz focus groups
Bachman on HANNITY is saying that Perry lied about the cancer suffering lobbyist because she didn’t appear before Perry until AFTER he introduced it. Something like that. She better be right or otherwise she is truly a loose canon who is desperatly blurring lines and making a large deposit on smearing Perry. Rick will set this straight, but I don’t believe Bachman’s version is anywhere near accurate...again.
That case states 8,000 illegals in the program, but in the GOP debate tonight they were saying something like 14K.
I am not sure if the lawsuit's number includes students who have filed an I-130 (application for permanent resident). Most of those students should eventually become legal residents, if they don't have a problem in their records. (I believe that you think the family based immigration quotas are too high. I agree.)
I also don't know what percent of the Dream Act people have not filed for legal status (one would think because they would not qualify for legal status, i. e. they are illegal and will stay that way unless they get amnesty). The peculiar thing about this is that Texas Dream Act does not require them to apply for legal status before the can get in state tuition; all they have to do is sign a paper stating that they will apply for legal status at some unspecified future date. For those Dream Act students who cannot file for legal status, how can they get a job after they graduate?
The issue is whether or not Perry has the capacity to think of America, or is he stuck thinking only of Texas with no capacity to grow.
His answer on in-state tuition is so terribly parochial and unfocused I'd have to say he could no more be counted on to represent American interests than is Obama.
Perhaps. he. suffers. from. constipation?
Saint Palin to the rescue.
You people are too much. LOL
The establishment GOP thanks you for your vote.

What do I do, not vote?
Obama scares me and he needs to be gone, no matter what. My pride and ideals are not too big to get rid of what I see as a one of the biggest threats to this country that I have ever known.
After this election we will have 2 years to work on the GOP or get something else up and running before the next election. I will crawl over glass for that, too. I am done with their chit.
YOU are hysterical. perry did his own shooting of self in foot. if Sarah has THAT much power...even in YOUR eyes, then she be the one, ain’t she?

You're being sarcastic, right?
Also, none of the others are on border states so how do we know what they would be doing?
I agree, I really like him. I like his ideas and I like his as a person. I just think because of Obama it will be another 100 years or so before another black is president.

The youth is turning against Obama but they are not interested in Romney. We need a candidate who will invigorate the youth. That’s going to be a freedom fighter.
My son’s friends say they’ve lost their passion for Obama. They are searching for a replacement for that passion. Romney will not win their vote.
My son said to me: I’d prefer Bachman to Romney. I’d prefer Perry to Romney. I’d prefer a cat, a trash can, or fungus to Romney. He’s a phony.
Romney may have been selected by the establishment GOP but the people who are awake and the ones who are waking up are not interested in simply flipping to a democrat in republican clothing. I know I’m not.
Anyone on that stage EXCEPT Romney would be my choice.
I can’t say I’d vote Romney just to keep Obama out. And my son is committed to not voting if his choice is Obama or Romney. The GOP better go back to their secret room and choose again.
The Luntz sessions are pure propaganda, right down to the hand-selected audience with the correct point of view.
