It was apparent to most watching Perry tonight what he was inferring. I was not aware of the timing of his relationship with Heather Burcham until about a minute after the Perry statement, when my Twitter account lit up.

At best, his statement was misleading, as he made it sound as if he issued his executive order (in part) because of his friendship with Ms. Burcham. Obviously, that wasn't the case.
