Despite President Obama’s repeated claims to change the tone in Washington, the White House has no comment this afternoon on incendiary statements made by a union leader who spoke before the president at today’s Labor Day rally. Warming up the crowd before President Obama’s speech in Detroit this afternoon, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. warned the largely-union crowd that the Tea Party was waging a “war on workers” and said that, come November, they should “take these sons of bitches out.” “We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Hoffa told thousands of workers gathered for the annual event organized by the Detroit Labor Council. “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march… Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” he concluded.

Obama is so controlling he probably had his guys write Hoffa's speech for him. At the very least, you can bet he vetted Hoffa's speech ahead of time.

Listened to Rush back in the day when he was with WABC, not long after he moved from Sacramento to NYC. Followed him thru the Clinton years and the early Bush years. Those were his best years. He was still in a 'building career' mode. Since then the good life has diminished his skill set, his heart isn't in it anymore. Occasionally he'll have a good day, if he bothers to show up, but beyond that he's only a shadow of his former self.
