Despite President Obama’s repeated claims to change the tone in Washington, the White House has no comment this afternoon on incendiary statements made by a union leader who spoke before the president at today’s Labor Day rally. Warming up the crowd before President Obama’s speech in Detroit this afternoon, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. warned the largely-union crowd that the Tea Party was waging a “war on workers” and said that, come November, they should “take these sons of bitches out.” “We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Hoffa told thousands of workers gathered for the annual event organized by the Detroit Labor Council. “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march… Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” he concluded.

The “Tea Party” is grassroots America. If Hoffa is declaring war on the Tea Party then he is declaring war on middle America and he will be soundly routed in such a political war.
What is ironic is the Tea Party and conservatives are trying to save unions from themselves. With 9% unemployment they are certainly taking their fair share of the job losses. Conservatives want to grow the economy and this will save and grow all jobs including union jobs.
What a stain on history this man has become. I almost feel sorry for those that thought he was some kind of second coming. What a collective screw up his election has been.
Obamsky is going to the mattresses. He’s going to enrage the base and demagogue the opposition and hope he can turn the apolitical to vote for him.
That would be priceless and actually an outstanding way for Boehner & the House Repubs to do this and command the high ground, and force 0dumb0 to publicly renounce Hoffa & his union thuggery. And 0dumb0 would throw Hoffa under the bus, no doubt about it, in order to get his face time again on national TV.
Too bad that Boehner or the House Repub leadership doesn't have the balls to do this.
