Wait a second, did the guy say "take them out" as regards to voting them out, as some sources are saying? That is a huge difference. Being called sons of bitches is not nice, but if he simply said to "take them out" at the ballot box, then the context is not nearly as bad. Sorry, I am going to withold judgement.
