Sarah Palin said it is important whom Republicans choose to run against President Obama, but didn’t directly address whether she’ll join the 2012 presidential race during her much-anticipated speech before a tea party crowd in Iowa on Saturday.

The former Republican governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee referenced the 2012 election many times throughout her remarks, calling out the “permanent political class,” “crony capitalism” and “entrenched political interests.”

If anything, her coyness makes her a bigger target.

I don’t like this strategy.

That's because it works to your guy's disadvantage.

Too bad, so sad.

I like Sarah Palin very, very much. She would make an excellent secretary of energy. Drill, baby drill

As POTUS she would most likely eliminate the need for a Secratary of Energy & Secratary of Education by eliminating these useless bueacracies that were created by Jimmy Carter.

>> She is annoying me because I want her to say yes or no.<<

Think about it this way. CSpan ran the entire gathering including Palin’s speech. CNN carried Palin’s speech. When was the last time they carried an entire speech of Cain, Bachman, or Perry? Once she announces they will stop carrying her speeches because they are afraid of her. It’s free campaign exposure that non of the other candidates are getting at least to that extent. She’s the only one who can get on a bus and have the media broadcast every step and word. Non of the other candidates get that exposure. She gets more exposure by coming out once or twice a month then the other candidates do full time. Why would she announce and lose all the free exsposure?

>>tired of the will she or won't she. Makes one weary ..<<

Think about it. She hasn’t changed what she has said at any time. She just says she hasn’t decided yet. Neither have some of the other’s like Bolton. No angst or talking about it being too late for Bolton or any of the others. It’s the MSM and the people who have been going back and forth with the speculation. Palin has been the steady one. No one gets more exposure then Palin. The MSM broadcasts every word she puts out. None of the others, even those who have announced, get that much exposure. Even when she’s silent they wonder what she’s doing. It’s all free to her.

Not true. I don’t think it works to anyone’s disadvantage except Palin.

But since you have made it obvious that you have no idea what you’re talking about, we can only hope that Sarah will ignore your advice.

You are an arrogant, pious ass. I do know that.

Sarah Palin mum on presidential ambitions during Iowa speech

Au contraire, she indicated exactly what her intentions are. Should be plain as day for anyone who has followed her pronouncements and consequent actions since '08. Think in terms of cause and effect and the answer shall be yours.

I originally had “(the silence is deafening)” in the title, but the moderator must have taken it out.

Wouldn't it be nice if Sarah had just spent the last 3.5 years preparing herself to anoint the RINO cowboy King?

CFR-Ric doesn't deserve to have to go through the stuff Sarah has.

I’m not going to go back and forth with you and I don’t think you have any “insight” that I’m not already aware of.

I like Sarah Palin and I already knew Rick Perry was CFR/NWO.

We’re on the same side, so chill out.

How does someone with a sign up date from Sept. 1998, have a posting history which only goes back to March of 2011?

I’ll be extremely surprised if someone who supported TARP is able to get the Tea Party vote.

I don't believe she'll run third party, and I'm not altogether convinced she's running at all. She's a true political talent that should be utilized, as she did in the 2010 elections.

But Palin isn't palatable to a great swath of the country. If you've hung around non-political folk, a lot of them really can't stand her. The family issues, the accent, the reality show, the gaffes, the interviews where she comes off as clueless, etc. Whether it's fair or not ignores the reality.

Whether or not anyone admits it, Perry will probably win the nomination because he's acceptable to enough of the Tea Party and enough of the establishment to bridge the gap.

""She will announce."

You freaks just need to stop! Stop it with the, "The World is So Afraid of Palin". No one is afraid of Palin. Primaries are being held, debates are going on, polls are being taken and no one is shaking in their boots over the drama queen. Read the damn polls! No one wants a candidate who has to get Ailes permission, (which hasn't been granted) to serve her country. I despise Newt but even he told Ailes to kick rocks and jumped into the fight.

She’s not running. She’s not going to run.

Sounds like a mantra or a desperate plea to me. Are you going to switch to "she can't win" after she joins the race?

She needs to @#$% or get off the pot.

She's been running since 2009. Guess you haven't noticed.

She said that she'd run an unconventional campaign, and she's doing exactly that. She'll announce when conditions warrant, but for now, just sit back and watch as she re-writes the playbook of presidential politics.
