The gym teacher accused of having sex hundreds of times with a student over two years when he was 15 broke down as she told a court the allegations have ruined her life.

Tania Pontbriand, 40, from Quebec, denies having sex with the student between 2002 and 2004, when she was a teacher at Rosemère High School.

If all they have is his testimony and some of her DNA in his sleeping bag, that is not enough to convict. If they have any other evidence, it’s a different story.

200-300 times just ON CAMPING TRIPS??!? Did they spend the entire two years in the woods? WTF?

This accusation stinks. She's got a 5-6-year old, that means she got pregnant about the same time the "affair" stopped. I'd bet that she tried to stop whatever DID happen, and the teenager got pissed off and ratted on her.

Interesting that there's no mention of a husband, nor of who the father of her children is.

They found her DNA on the boy’s sleeping bag. She took a fifteen year old student on a camping trip to “bond” with him even though this kid was depressed and possibly suicidal at the time. She now claims she is the victim because people know her name and they won’t let THEIR SONS PLAY WITH HER SON! I hope she loses her job, I hope she is sued and I hope she has to register as a sex offender. She was in a position of power.. a teacher. To exploit a teen to gratify her own sexual urges or whatever weird “cougar” world she is living in is despicable. IMHO

I always heard that female gym teachers were gay. The one we had in JR high was clearly gay. Never heard any bad stuff about her and the girls, but a couple of girls did mention that the teacher seemed to linger a little longer near the showers that they thought appropriate.
