URBANDALE, Iowa (AP) Sarah Palin is making a surprise appearance at a suburban Des Moines restaurant.
And she was greeted there Friday night with chants of "Run, Sarah, run!"
Hundreds of fans jammed into the Iowa Machine Shed, with the backroom of the farm-themed restaurant overflowing, as people from as far away as Texas, Florida and California strained for a glimpse of the former Alaska governor....

THAT reaction in a random crowd would not so readily translate into the folks voting for her. The reaction was....'Run Sarah Run'.....that's a voters cry not a random crowds.

[It’s a cult of personality at this point. ]
Not really, a lot of us have either met her, or her family. I got to buy her dad and brother a beer once and talked to her mom as well. There is zero evidence that any of these people are less than genuine.
So I wouldn’t call it a cult of personalty. More like a lot of us are very comfortable with what we know we will get. Can’t say that for the other candidates, though I would be ok voting for a handful.

[95% of the people say they would never vote for Palin.]
You mean only 5% of voteres would even consider her if she was good in the debates and won the nomination? That is hogwash.

Regardless of who support the GOP does need to be ripped apart. It’s nothing more than an establishment RINO factory.

Much appreciate your report directly from this event with Palin. I am not at all surprised the "air was electic"..... When Bush came to Troy Ohio I went downtown the night before as things we getting set up for his coming. You could feel the "electricity" in the air as people went about the jobs deligated to them. It was breathtaking to experience this with the people and especially as the momentum built when it all began coming together.
So I understand what that "electicity" is about. The next day the crowd that showed to see Bush was 20,000 in this small community....and of course Bush stole the show from the get go.

No one can know who will win. Still, if all her getting in does is pull the party to the right then it will be worth it.

[This *she cant win* crap is the crap of the lamestream that fear her, her rivals, the paid pollsters and the GOP-E.]
It’s is very bizarre. You don’t hear anyone calling for Santorum, Bachmann,, Cain, Gingrich, etc. to drop out “because they can’t win”.

Sarah already said a couple of weeks ago when the RINO Cowboy was in the race that there was nobody in the field that she could throw her support behind. Besides, I have a better chance of getting a date with Katy Perry, than Sarah Palin endorsing Perry. Enjoy your date.

So, since you were at this “rally”, was it pre-planned or just another photo op?
The AP sure seems to be pushing Palin tonight and her “grass roots” surprise rally.
Why is that, do you think?

Do they keep their promises? Palin didn't even serve out her entire term as governor in Alaska. This "Cult of Sarah" phenonenom on FR is getting bizarre to me as someone who just wants to beat Obama.
