NOBAMA Bumper Sticker Earns me $2,500 Car Damage

I parked my car that has a NOBAMA bumper sticker at a MARTA station in Sandy Springs near Atlanta Georgia for two days. After my return, the whole car was scratched with keys on all sides. It will now cost me $2,500 to repair the car. Worse, there is no way to catch the criminals and punish them. And, now, I am really scared and worried to express my opinion through bumper stickers, fearing another costly damage.

Did anyone experience similar problems? What recourse do you suggest?

Use an hidden generator to charge the outside body of the car with 2000 volts of AC – when they key the vehicle they’ll get a 2000 volt “hello” in the slimy fingers that hold the key.

We had a friend who sailed around the world on his 50 footer in the seventies. When in a bad harbor, he’d attach wires from his battery to the lifelines, stainless steel cables around the perimeter of the yacht. When local beggars came up to his boat and held on to the energized lifelines they got a serious jolt of electricity - kinda like an electrical fence.

Wonder if the concept would work on a car, as soon as a key got through the paint, their fingers got fryed!

Funny, a co worker still had her barry bumper sticker on her car and her tire was slashed.

She blamed it on the bumper sticker and removed it.

i’ve already had to replace my hood tag a couple of times (you can punch it and shatter/splinter the decal... forcing a replacement)

Your just asking for trouble with political bumper stickers. If you have a nice car you care about, don’t put any political or controversial bumper stickers, magnets or anything else like it on that vehicle. Just don’t do it. It’s sad that criminals will vandalize a car because you have chosen to express yourself, but this kind of thing will never stop. Bumper stickers age badly anyway.

I’m betting that you might be surprised. Even the leftards are getting scared. It’s one thing to hate your country in the abstract and wish Amerikka ill.

It’s another thing entirely to realize that if your country goes down you go down with it, you and all the people you love to hate.

I’m banking that most lib realize that they’re not recession-proof and their money is not immune to inflation. We don’t have nearly as huge a population “on benefit” as the Brits do and I think the seriousness of the situation is starting to sink into them too.

Probably even the most die-hard defender of the Great Obama on “The Root.com” may just realize he has to rearrange his sock drawer on election night.

Get a boatload of anti obama stickers and apply them to everybody elses car in the MARTA parking lot.

I love this idea, but it will clearly cause a union driven, police investigation. First, find out if there are cameras before proceeding. Second remember the real meaning of the 5th Amendment. The Hell’s Angles have a prepared response:

Get it repainted,with the same conservative bumper stickers, but make up several sloppy hand written cardboard signs, which you'll place on the dashboard, and rear window, whenever you park in "questionable areas"
