The Obamas' summer break in Martha's Vineyard has already been branded a PR disaster after the couple arrived four hours apart on separate government jets. But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances. White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year. Branding her 'disgusting' and 'a vacation junkie', they say the 47-year-old mother-of-two has been indulging in five-star hotels, where she splashes out on expensive massages and alcohol. The 'top source' told the National Enquirer: 'It's disgusting. Michelle is taking advantage

so that she can hate the country and us.
They’re partying like the passengers on the Titanic.....
The article mentioned the trip to Martha’s Vineyard. It alluded to the fact that taxpayers are paying for their trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Is it really true that taxpayers are paying for the rent where they’re staying, and is that the policy? If so, that’s outrageous. We shouldn’t be paying for presidents to go on vacation. While it may be a drop in the bucket compared to our deficits, it sends a horrible message to taxpayers out there.
>> top shelf vodka
Cut her some slack on that one, FRiend. She actually *saves* the taxpayers money by purchasing her vodka by the barrel, weekly.
Anyhoo, I don’t fault either Barky or Shelly for drinking, considering who each of them is married to. :-)
This is interesting, but to be fair I really don’t take the National Enquirer seriously.
Criminal
Bet she justifies it by saying she couldn’t tolerate DC otherwise.
Arranged marriage.
I was never a big Dubya fan, but I was a Laura Bush fan. I thought she was such a charming First Lady in every way. The perfect model of decorum, dignity, and decency.
It is clearly inaccurate to report that Her Majesty’s purple bike shorts are in any sense “tiny”
National Enquirer has actually been pretty accurate. They are the ones that busted John Edwards.
This reporter is obviously racist. She wouldn’t be making a big deal if Laura Bush had done this. Oh wait, . . .
Mychal Massie has it right.
Go here to read what he has to say about FUBO’s “wife.”

I don’t know at all how these things work but there should be a set budget for Presidents and their families. Period. How they spend them I don’t care, but there should be a set amount and it should be what it is. Not a bottomless bucket of money.
Of course, I think each state should also pay all expenses except for the actual building costs for Congress. Whatever they want to spend on their representatives is fine with me. But I don’t see why FL or CA or TX should pay for the representatives for MA or RI or MI. I know it’s probably a drop in the bucket when you look at the entire budget, but I think it would send a very clear message. We are tired of you living like kings and queens at the paupers expense. There was a revolution fought over just this sort of thing.
Hey, peasant, STFU and eat your peas!
What a reliable source
The British press-reporting the stories American reporters simply refuse to cover;)
‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ ping. I’m sure there’s a fashion opportunity here somewhere.
Barry's reaction would be funny if his own out-of-control spending wasn't so damaging to the country.
