The Appalachians are the oldest mountains on Earth. I can guess that the plate tectonics are still active pushing them eastward. There has to be a point where the forces overwhelm the static forces and something’s gotta give eventually..................

That was unnerving. We just don’t get those around here. I thought something was going horribly wrong.
I agree. 10th floor of an old building. I doubt it is very earthquake resistant. I still feel like everything is moving.

According to Megyn Kelly, cellular service is disrupted all over the area. FOX can’t get through to USGS or anyone.
Also, just in from a FOX producer in a plane on the runway at JFK, apparently JFK has been shut down (unofficial)
