I am willing to sacrifice Houston to a hurricane in order to get rain all the way to north central Texas...I wouldn't wish a hurricane on anyone but it's hard not to see the benefits of a great big ole "blow job"..

"Were where the arrow says persistence. How appropriate!" Aahhh.
I know where you are. You went there, I came here, LOL.
Up until about a week ago, this whole area here (Mobile/Pensacola) was having severe/record drought conditions. It's rained every day now for the last five days...I have water standing in my yard now. (and, I like it)

2 to 3 weeks without power is disastrous. Especially if you aren't weaponized.
Well, somebody has to guard the generator.

Really, do you feel the urge to be that snotty towards Houston? We’re supposed to be in this thing called “life” together.
To: N. Theknow; NautiNurse
It is not an official TS or Hurricane until The Nauti One posts it. You've got that right!
Good Luck to Texas!!!!

A couple weekends ago I drove from Panama City to Houston and it rained from Mobile to Beaumont.
Not a lot of fun and made us jealous as hell.

I’m sure he just meant the 5th ward.
Besides, without Houston The Woodlands wouldn’t have anyone to feel superior over! LOL

Naming it Don is racist. She [SJL] would complain that hurricane names were too lilly white and that All racial groups should be represented. She suggested Hurricanes Keisha, Jamal and Deshawn.
Don:
May this hurricane be a masculine hurricane.

I am hoping for a weaker storm than Ike that just keeps on trucking inland to the northwest. I am hoping that the rain is a good soaking rain.
