FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Santa Monica, Calif. (July 18, 2011) ⎯ ARC Entertainment today announced "The Undefeated," which chronicles Sarah Palins rise from obscurity to national prominence, will roll out to additional AMC Theatres (AMC) beginning on Friday, July 22nd.
With sold-out runs and enthusiastic audience support on opening weekend, the film will roll out to new markets including Tucson, AZ; West Palm, FL; Milwaukee, WI; Charlotte, NC; and Ontario, CA. The film will also expand into additional theatres in Atlanta, GA, and Phoenix, AZ, and will continue in theatres in Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Denver, CO; Orlando, FL; and Orange, CA.
ARC Entertainment, the distributor of the film, announced today that the film had a stronger opening weekend than expected with the top markets, Phoenix and Orange County, achieving weekend per screen averages above $11,000 driven by multiple sold-out runs. The film was rushed to select digital theatres in only three weeks, and was marketed entirely through social media and grass roots efforts with virtually no traditional media spend.
Given the audience response on our opening weekend we now know we have a film that works. Our objective is very simple⎯ to bring this film to every market and every corner of the country; starting with a limited theatrical release and then through an aggressive broader distribution strategy including streaming video, on-demand access and DVD, stated filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon.
Trevor Drinkwater, CEO of ARC Entertainment, said, We have been inundated with requests from around the country to have the film play in their market. Our expansion plan is being methodically analyzed and managed to allow the film to be viewed by the widest audience in the most effective manner.
This coming Friday the film will play in the following AMC theatres:

The film includes leading prominent political commentators Mark Levin, Tammy Bruce and Andrew Breitbart as well as conservative activists Kate Obenshain, Sonnie Johnson and Jamie Radtke. Additionally, the film features interviews with Alaskan civil servants, elected officials and advisors who were involved in Alaskan politics during Governor Palins tenure.
After the incredible feedback we got from enthusiastic audiences, we are very excited to bring this story of a true American hero to additional audiences across America, said Glenn Bracken Evans.
(((((PING)))))
I don't know what kind of boxoffice it would draw, but it would sure be fun flippin' off the inevitable leftist protesters outside the theater.
Wahooo!!!GA Thanks
I doubt it will ever get to Madison, so off I go!!
...and sell out the theaters in YOUR town......like WE did!

A point that many of the "concerned" posters here don't seem to grasp.

And one might even think that by such a calculated rollout someone was creating demand via limited supply.
Keeps the per theater numbers high - which creates more buzz - which creates more demand...and thus leads to an even larger rollout to a ready and waiting customer base... And keeping it out there in the public eye over a longer period of time...which keeps the discussion going...which leads more people to want to see it... which Nah...that couldn’t be it... ;)
O4P CA; The Undefeated Opening Day Ground Report

But 3 weeks of: boots on the ground, fingers on the keyboard, and good old fashioned volunteerism paid off big time this weekend!
Victory Film Group's The Undefeated opened on Friday July 15, 2011 and ended up having an average gross of $6570 per theater.
If that wasn't enough...
Exactly - we in the Northeast need a film that’s worth watching (not to mention the ‘theatre’ that may accompany such a showing) :-)
How ‘bout running the theaters that ran Atlas Shrugged part 1?
Take that haters
Was sold out at highlands ranch location in Colorado this weekend. Now tickets are available again. I suspect they added another screen. Go Sarah!
I am happy to see it’s being expanded to more cities.... but come on! Alabama was one of the top 5 states that supported mccain/PALIN in 2008. Higher than Texas or Georgia, the two closest states to Alabama that are showing the film. In fact, in two of the three new markets, North Carolina and Wisconsin went for 0bammy in 2008- or is that all part of Bannon’s strategery?
I guess I’m just donating 100 bucks to SarahPac to get to see it.
Comming to the mid-Atlantic states very soon, I hope. Perhaps Sarah’s holding off so that she can have her showing in Baltimore, while simultaneously announcing candidacy. That would be great!
IMO That discussion is the beauty of it all. I imagine Bannon could have gotten the finding for spam-level advertizing, or at least a significant amount, but the ‘word of mouth’ aspect feeds into development of the discussion and stretches the process out.
The movie advertized like every other would not have nearly the effect of the ‘grass roots’ approach regarding the strategic aspect. Rather than in and out of theaters in a couple weeks like a ‘regular’ movie, that ‘staying power’ he seems to be going for will contribute far more than raw cash to the effect he wants.
Perhaps I’m wrong, but that’s my take on it.
C'mon guys! Run this film in a few Northeastern theaters.I feel your pain!I don't know what kind of boxoffice it would draw, but it would sure be fun flippin' off the inevitable leftist protesters outside the theater.
For those of you who live in areas of the country where you CANNOT easily get to a theater showing in person right now...
...you can still help us FReep this movie the "old-fashioned" way...ONLINE!From conservatives4palin.com:
