“A point that many of the “concerned” posters here don’t seem to grasp.”

And one might even think that by such a calculated rollout someone was creating demand via limited supply.

Keeps the per theater numbers high - which creates more buzz - which creates more demand...and thus leads to an even larger rollout to a ready and waiting customer base... And keeping it out there in the public eye over a longer period of time...which keeps the discussion going...which leads more people to want to see it... which Nah...that couldn’t be it... ;)

And, from conservatives4palin.com:

Look, you can't expect The Undefeated to blow the doors off anywhere it goes. That won't happen. Bannon chose NOT to publicize this film.

What this film is deliberately designed to do is to affect the Republican Primary Race. That's what it's for.

And it will serve, possibly, to start a conversation among independents who have doubts about Obama and who are looking for an alternative. Sarah is not considered a possibility among them right now, but when she announces, people will want to take a look at this film.

Palin knows how good this film is, which is why she is tying it to fundraising.

Nevertheless, studios like the Weinstein Group are not lining up behind it as they did with 9/11 because they don't have skin in the anti-Bush game the way they did with Michael Moore. Bushhate sold a lot of coin in 2004.

This is all about promoting the video. Dozens of theaters at $5000 per day is nothing compared to when this hits Amazon on DVD for $20. (Not to mention $100 per copy to donors to the PAC, probably about the time she announces).

I’ll predict that Palin is brilliantly creating a desirable, high-value donation premium.
