Poor President Obama just can't catch a break. Earlier today, the president entered the White House Rose Garden to announce that he'd tapped Richard Cordray to head the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But then he told a bad joke about Cordray's past as a Jeopardy! contestant. And nobody laughed. And it was sad.
I loved the way the jackass looked America in the eye last Friday and said “Polls show that 80% of Americans WANT tax increases and to raise the debt limit”
It aint playing in Peoria
I know how he feels.
Look at #35 on this thread.

He didn’t do it himself. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd helped
Heard Obama speak to the Shuttle astronauts the other day. He tried to be cute and failed, big time. O started by asking, “Whom am I talking to?” Answer came back from the Shuttle Commander. Obama then replied, “That’s funny, I was just dialing out for pizza and ended up in outer space, uh..., etc, uh...”
Obama was IMO obviously uncomfortable making this call and it sounded like he’d had one drink too many. Some of his words were slurred and mispronounced. The astronauts all looked like they’d rather be in another galaxy and certainly not talking to the man who’d deep sixed the shuttle program.

We can thank Dodd-Frank.
Rest assured, it'll be hell. Among other things...
It will write and enforce bank rules, conduct bank examinations, monitor and report on markets, as well as collect and track consumer complaints.
80% want taxes on the other 20%....
What's up with that?
Key word: "protection". What a racket.
“I don’t get no respect.” Tell Obama to go here:

“I went to my proctologist. He stuck his finger in my mouth.”
“My mother breast-fed me through a straw.”
Enjoy the meatloaf. We’ll be here all week.
“But then he told a bad joke about Cordray’s past as a Jeopardy! contestant. And nobody laughed. And it was sad.”
Ha, I find that hilarious.
Obama makes me sick.
Drudge had this up and it also caught my eye, where Steve Wynn calls Obama a fear mongering socialist, and much more for good measure.
“Wynn CEO Goes On Epic Anti-Obama Rant On Company Conference Call”
There is the truth.
I hate this SOB
“I told my psychiatrist I keep thinking I’m ugly - he told me to lay on the couch - face down!”
I have noticed that, as a people, we don’t laugh a fraction of what we did thirty years ago. Particularly with the Obama regime, there seems to be a black out on political satire and jokes. American’s always had such a great sense of humor. Has political correctness destroyed our ability to laugh at ourselves?
President Obama is a Joke every day and Nobody Laughs
“...newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
What’s up with that?”
It’s another one of Obama’s czars with a nice sounding title to fool us into thinking he’s doing something good for us ignorant (what they think) citizens, but behind the scenes he’s putting in more controls on us and further destroying our freedoms and the country.
either they’re too friggin’ stupid to get it... (very possible), or no one is in a laughing mood anymore these days... (also quite possible)
Along the same line...
Q: Wat's the smartest thing about Obama?
A: His outfit.
Setting us up for price controls. But not for everyone.
Some animals are more equal than others.
I wonder why Jimmy Carter wasn't tapped for the job?
He's got the experience, LOL.
