I’ve been following this story, reading up, eh...fast and furious.
Rush says this was all a scam to set up a scenario that would have Mexicans killing each other with American guns. Thereby giving the Dems a talking point to get rid of guns.
I don’t buy that. The murder of all those Phoenix people should have been a big anti-gun talking point. It weren’t. Because America has changed fundamentally after Sept. 11, 2001 and taking away of our guns simply does not get footage except to the far-out kooks.
For sure the shoot up of a bunch of drug-dealing Mexicans is not going to set the American populace aflame with anti-gun rage.
But I do, as expected, have a theory as to just what this silly operation was all about.
Beginning with, let us ALL agree that it was NOT about tracking American guns going into Mexico, not in any way shape or form. It would be about Rush’s theory above than ever about some kind of noble operation to track the gun runners taking American guns into Mexico.
What is IS about, and you can hold me to this, is BRIBERY!

I think Eric Holder, the WORST American AG...EVER....just follow the money with this guy. I think the big drug cartels, a Mexican major revenue raiser in that country which, of so many years blessed with a beautiful land with co much coastline still claims sending their beleaguered citizens to America to send their money back home as its biggest industry...the big drug cartels needed lots more guns. It’s a nothing-burger country of small brained people that can’t make a go of creating a flourishing democracy with its riches.
And like Holder will take Arab money to push trying a terrorist in NY City, well hell yeah he’ll take those off-shore delivered bucks for arranging a shipment to Mexico of plenty American guns.
Can the Repubs keep this up? It does muss head hairs and the Lamestream will have to be forced to cover it.....

The story, though simple, at the same time appears too involved and murky for a lot of the public to follow or understand what happened and why.
All the high-ranking perps involved will create a magnificent swirling smoke screen of buck-passing and plausible-deniability that will be impenetratable. Actually, this has already started with the employment of the Obama regime's favorite sport of under-the-bus throwing.
The state-controlled MSM will not investigate the scandal, nor will it analyze it with any tenacity or truth. Nor will it put the perps to any scrutiny from Obama on down.
Plus, there's no sex involved in this comparatively dull gun-running tale, so it will undoubtedly die from its own lack of titillation.

You’re right about how slow this incredible and unbelievable story is to catch hold but again, as I must, I would point out to you that if we had an opposition party that had a mouth and stopped reaching across the aisle all the time, this kind of stuff would get out there.

I just think it is odd. Who kills someone and then leaves behind a couple a AK’s that ballistics showed- killed him? Why would someone kill someone and leave the gun behind? In the outside normal world this is only done to make it look like a suicide.This of course could not have been the reasoning in this case so why would they leave the evidence?

he should be allowed to resign, as long as he names names of people who instructed him to do this. That is an acceptable plea arrangement.

We have developed a culture in the USA where politicians and high level appointees are never ever held accountable as would be done in the private sector.
We need to start holding government officials at the highest level criminally accountable (regardless of their Party) and making examples out of them. That prevents recurrences. We have had many screw-ups in our country where people died and those involved were never investigated from an aspect of criminality, culpability and malfeasance.... from 9-11 to this ATF fiasco. Maybe they will give this ATF guy a promotion as they did to some after 9-11.
