WASHINGTON (CNN) - The long-awaited golf showdown between President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner is underway this morning: The pair, along with with Vice President Joe Biden and GOP Ohio Gov. John Kasich, hit the links around 10 a.m. Saturday at Joint Base Andrews.

A handicap in golf is assigned to players to let different level players to compete on a more leval basis.
There has been no word what kind of handicap game they will play.

Exactly what does Boner think he is accomplishing by this stunt? Does he think the media is going to like him?
Also, If Ozero beats him on the links, the press will love it - should Boner win the round, the press will find a way to come down on Boner like a bomb on Nagasaki.

I wonder why Obama likes to golf so much??? He’s not good at it by all accounts.

Maybe it is the only place he can smoke with impunity or gosh knows what else.

I am not a golfer, but I’ve read comments from knowledgeable people that Barry is a crappy duffer.

I read in Golf Digest, just a month or two ago, that Obama had about a 20 handicap, which means he roughly shoots in the low 90s. For an "average" golfer that's a decent score, but for someone who plays as much as he does, he should shoot much better. Though I've never seen him play, the photos I've seen of him on the course don't impress me. He looks like he's playing on a putt-putt course.

What's interesting though--to me--is that someone who wasn't at least enjoying the game, he wouldn't be out there so much.

I like Boehner okay also, but agreeing to this match is a dumb move. He could’ve made headlines by saying sumpin’ like what’s goin’ on in this country is not a game. Let’s just talk in an office somewhere.
