A handicap in golf is assigned to players to let different level players to compete on a more leval basis.
There has been no word what kind of handicap game they will play.
Doesn't matter, OJerko is so bad just him being out there with these guys will be humiliating.

Thank you. Okay, I don’t mean to be dense, or to burn up your time unnecessarily, but I still have a question. If ‘under-par’ is the goal [I do have at least that part right, no?], then why would assigning Barry a higher initial number help him finish closer to par? [I hope you’re one of these, ‘there’s no dumb question’ types of people. ;) ]

so a handicap means the crumby player is given points he didn’t earn, or as in golf, less points? So actually the one on the receiving end of this benefit probably would always loose without it. Don’t kill me, but isn’t that the reality of it?
