China Wants To Construct A 50 Square Mile Self-Sustaining City South Of Boise, Idaho
THE AMERICAN DREAM ^ | June 08, 2011 | swampsniper

Posted on 06/08/2011 8:41:14 AM PDT by SWAMPSNIPER

Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power. So what is China going to do with all of that money? One thing that they have decided to do is to buy up pieces of the United States and set up "special economic zones" inside our country from which they can continue to extend their economic domination. One of these "special economic zones" would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach for short) plans to construct a "technology zone" south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. The Chinese Communist Party is the majority owner of Sinomach, so the 10,000 to 30,000 acre "self-sustaining city" that is being planned would essentially belong to the Chinese government. The planned "self-sustaining city" in Idaho would include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail centers and large numbers of homes for Chinese workers. Basically it would be a slice of communist China dropped right into the middle of the United States.

Oh my...the beginning of Agenda 21 type life.

"Sustainable Development" is the scarrrrry plan to put nature before man and end national sovereignty. Plan is also to build major areas for humans and put them all in little apartments and have no suburban areas, private homes, etc. They will be "settlement zones."

This is a plan that has been in the works for more than 10 years, supported by environmentalists, elitists, European nations and the U.N. It is not just the plan or idea of socialists in the WH now.

If you think the ruin of our and other nations' economies, loss of jobs, lowered production, higher gas and oil prices, increased food costs, foreclosures/ people losing their homes, etc. are just because of some bad politics, decisions and bad planning...you are wrong. This has happened because this socialistic group of dreamers and schemers has planned for all of this to happen. Their ultimate goal is to make the masses subservient and huddled together in these locations while a few...very few...rich ruling class of people control the world.

For those who do not believe, or have not heard of Agenda 21 watch this video:

I doubt US citizens would allow their state and fed representatives sit idle while they are kicked out of their homes.

Well, the Supreme Court's Kelo decision pretty much allows the US government to take any land they want and give it to whomever they choose. So if Obama wants to take 50 sq miles and give it to China, I'm not sure the existing residents have much standing to challenge him.

No longer citizens, we are just subjects.

Idaho and several other of our western states are becoming wholly owned Red Chinese provinces. The PRC has sold off the US debt bonds it held for cash and uses the cash to buy real, physical assets in the US and other countries.

Just read the daily WSJ and you will see article after article detailing Red Chinese purchases. Yesterday, it reported Chinese companies (most are with PRC government control or guidance)are shopping for established European food companies with great brand names. Once the Chinese buy Yoplit will it be as pure and healthy as before when eating?

No freaking way. The Birds of Prey people in Boise will come completely unglued. This would upset the gophers and then what would the birds of prey eat...moo goo gai pan? This is a non-starter.

Actually Idaho does have a seaport. It's at Lewiston and connects to the Pacific via the Snake and Columbia Rivers.

It's too far away from Boise to be of use though.

Selling the Commies the rope with which we will allow them to hang us?

I think we should react in the same way they would react to a similar proposal from us to do this in PRC: hell no!

Oh yes! And remember when the Western powers prevented China from outlawing opium when it was destroying China and the Chinese people?

Expect China to prevent the United States from outlawing addictive drugs and protection Americans and their children from them.

You reap what you sow, Americans!

Your apathy, self-indulgence, and silly support of sleazy, corrupt politicans has brought you to the brink of decadence, decay, and destruction!

Your refusal to recognize the Left as Decadence has brought the American economy to the brink of destruction, and the destruction of American society and social and political integrity will follow.

It's not too late!

There is still time for the American people to kick the Leftist Politicians out of Washington--kick the Leftists out of U.S. courts--disempower the Leftists who have commandeered television, U.S. universities, and Hollywood--reverse the Decadence that is destroying America!

America can still be returned to ascendancy!

The U.S. economy can boom once again!

America can still be the greatest nation the world has ever known!

This is how: Destroy the Left. Reject it. Kick it into the garbage dump of history where it belongs. Demand truth! The Left is Decadence.

There is still time!

Do it in China.

This is insanity.
Why would we let another nation have such a toehold inside our country.

This is akin to the self governing foreign enclaves (Treaty Ports) that were established in dozens of Chinese cities during the Opium Wars of the 1800’s.

We already have the start of this type of encroachment with the de facto muslim enclaves in some of our cities.

Its time to stop, and reverse, the erosion of our sovereignty.

A self sustained city, built by a hotile nation, populated by its communist citizens? You can’t see any danger in that? Ask the chinese if they would let us do the same in China.s

They have a name for this. It is called a colony. And it is a very bad thing to let someone establish one in your country. But since we don't teach history in the US it will probably get built.

Agree. Foreign countries wanting to set up industries in the U.S. Though I can’t imagine doing it without giving some sort of priority hiring to American citizens.

This article is so alarmist. The author uses dramatic language like "...bring in and store massive amounts of military equipment..." Get real, in the 1970's, the USSR processed uranium by building a facility inside of a mountain (I believe it was in violation of a treaty limiting nuclear material production as to the reason of building it inside of a mountain). American satellites were able to pick up heat signature from water discharged from the facility. And China, today, cannot build a sub without US satellites picking up on it.

There is no way whatsoever, China will be able to use these economic zones for military purposes without it being known to the US government. The author's depiction sounds like a plot for a James Bond or Tom Clancy movie.

China has excess capital and needs a place to store it. Latin America, Africa, etc. simply does not provide enough places to park her capital. And building economic zones and providing jobs for Americans is a good way to do it. American and other Western countries have spent hundreds of billions on China investing there. China is sending some of those investments back. This is how trade is being balance.

In the long run, most Americans will welcome Chinese investments. There will always be some, like this author, who will display an alarmist attitude, but I'm convinced, most people will willingly accept Chinese investments into the US.

We have exported just about everything else to China. Now we got around to the country. Who made the money in this deal?
