It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesn’t approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends. Under the guise of a proposed global “Small Arms Treaty” premised to fight “terrorism”, “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates” you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted – our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.

Article six of the U.S. Constitution:
...”and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States shall be the supreme law of the land...”
Its never going to happen. Its infuriating that Barry and Hillary are trying to make the treaty but it takes 2/3rds of the Senate to ratify a treaty and it will never happen. But call your Senator anyway and raise sand about it.
Ahhhh, come on...
Not this sh!t again!!!
If Rebecca Peters leads the way in the confiscation phase...This will end rather quickly...
I see a whole lotta blue helmets that will never be this unhappy ever again...
Just another day in Obamaland.

Thank you for your service!
When in the course of human events it comes to the people’s attention that they can no longer expect or receive justice or redress, the people must hunt down the miscreants who have denied the people justice or redress and teach them an expensive and enduring lesson.
Not enough of them.
Agreed - if it ever came down to it, I think the Constitution would be read as prohibiting the entry into treaties that purport to overrule the Constitution. Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be tried - frankly, we’ve de facto ceded sovereignty to the UN (IMHO) when we allow our troops to serve under a UN commander.

Heheh....
Ditto, Taxman.
That remains to be seen. In New Orleans there was no resistance from the decent Americans. They just handed over their guns to the thugs.
Yes and yes.
Thanks.
I was about to start researching that... but today, I just ain’t got the time!
Will read the case later...
I have always thought that disarming America could be the bloodiest event in human history. Armed Americans aren’t stupid nor are they pushovers. This won’t happen. I have read surveys on how many guns the government believes are owned by citizens and have always felt they were grossley underestimating the fire power in free hands.
You are welcome. I think it may hit the courts again if Obama tries to pass a small arms treaty. The Dems will argue, of course, that international treaties automatically amend the Constitution.
