Here we go again, Rudy Giuliani edition.
A new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation national poll shows the former New York City mayor atop the slow-forming Republican primary field.
The survey shows Giuliani getting 16 percent of independents and Republicans, with nominal frontrunner Mitt Romney a point behind at 15 percent.
Sarah Palin gets 13 percent.

Giuliani was the biggest loser of 2008-—he spent some $65 million and lost in every primary he entered.
He said he was “saving himself” for the Florida primary that he had rigged with NY voters there for the winter-—he campaigned day and night and came in a distant third.
Yes I figured that that was what you meant..And yes I do want Sarah to become our next president but there are two other if she decided not to run..And neither of those two will be Rudy..
One would think he'd be even less popular now, hell, Newt has a better chance than him and that's not saying much.
Oh, I don't know. Just everything she has been doing these past couple of years. If you had been paying attention I would NOT need to explain it to you.
Where do you start? It all needs to be done (or undone) now. That was probably number six. But you launch all of this stuff as soon as possible, then focus on each one individually. And let’s get a little more of Patton going and a little less of patent leather (to quote Michael Savage): “No reports that we’re holding ground. We’re not holding on to anything except the Liberals. We’re going to hold onto him by the nose and we’re going to kick him in the ass.”
I believe they have simply lost their minds. They know Sarah will be in this race and win it by a landslide.
Sarah said if she ran, it would be an unconventional run. She is truly a woman of her word!
If Sarah is NOT at the top of the ticket, the only thing I can do is write her in.
I’m in lock step with you.
It may be a lost vote, but I will not vote for the AINO’s the democrats try to put up by cross voting in the primaries.
This is what they did in 2008,and we got McNasty the progressive democrat RINO. The RINO that pulled his punches and would not support his running mate...Sarah. It was a repeat of the 1996 Doledrums, without R.Perot.
Who will be the next Perot...Trump?
Giuliani leads in poll...uh-oh! JimRob will be fit to be tied. :(
This really shouldn’t worry anyone. Last time around, John McCain got more votes than Rudy G.
He just doesn’t play well in the sticks. I’m a lot more worried about Romney.
This bus tour has just about everyone of the lamestream media, as well as the elite repubes heads exploding.
They know, as well as we do, this is her “non-campainging” campaign.
She is brilliant and deserves to be our next POTUS.
Liz, this is NOT a pro-Rudy thread. You’re preaching to the choir.
I posted this as WARNING. Nothing more, nothing less.
We ALL need to keep on our toes. Sarah’s bus tour has them in a complete panic...especially since they had NO CLUE IT WAS COMING!
>>>>>>Rudy would be great for National Defense....what he did to NYC (everyone in NYC hated the man, especially unions). He turned what used to be a crap filled dangerous toilet called NYC into what it is now....or used to be.
Lets clear things up. Rudy would not be good for national defense. He was a draft dodger. Also, the NYC unions received very generous contracts from Rudy and the number of city employees went up under Giuliani.
The decrease in crime throughout NYC began under Mayor Dinkins. With strong support from Police Commissioner Howard Safir, Rudy was able to enforce tough anti-crime measures associated with the "broken windows" policies. Those policies were instituted under Transit Police Chief, William J. Bratton during Dinkins run as Mayor. Mayor Bloomberg seems to have done the best job fighting crime in NYC. But I wouldn't ever be voting for Bloomberg, Dinkins or Giuliani.
Truth is, Rudy is an authoritarian who believes in strong gun control policies. While Rudy did a good job as Mayor by NYCity standards, cleaning up Times Square, eliminating the squeegee-men, arresting public urinators and catching turnstile jumpers are not the issues that conservatives will be judging candidates on in the GOP primaries. And Rudy's leadership after 911 is way overblown.
Just more misinformation by/from the Liberal Media. With Obama and his mob controlling the MSM, what else can we expect? As Rush says: Don’t let the Libs pick the Republican candidate for us.
Absolutely. I agree with your reason for posting this.
My comment about the poll huggers amongst us was not about you.
“This bus tour has just about everyone of the lamestream media, as well as the elite repubes heads exploding.”
I am laughing because I know you are right..The closer it gets the the more the moron will mess up..
She is brilliant. I agree..She is also classy..and would make us all proud that she is our president..
I think we all knew Trump had no intention running for POTUS. I do believe he said he might, just to get the word out.
He FORCED barry to produce yet another fake BC. Can you imagine how much money Trump has lost because of this usurper in OUR White House?
My original intuition, and I still believe it, is that Trump did what he did to clear the way for Sarah. Sarah CANNOT bring up the BC issue, or else she would be lumped in with all of us “crazy birthers”.
He wants barry the usurper out of OUR White House as much as we do. What he did was brave and truly American.
Now barry has 2 fake bc’s out there, as well as his SS # issue. Someone somewhere knows the truth.
Truth CANNOT be held in the darkness for too long. It always rears it sometimes ugly head (ugly for the liars). We are in for a boat load of crap.
Rudy set himself up to run a 1 state campaign in 2008 (FL), and he lost miserably.
If mittens becomes our nom, our country is screwed. As I have stated, I will write in Sarah Palin, which to some is to believed “throwing away” their vote.
In 2008, I pulled my lever for Sarah, NOT mclame. I thought she would kick his a$$ once they won.
I WILL NOT support anyone other than a Conservative this time around. If that means America goes into phase two, so be it.
