Jose Guerena, 26, was killed when a SWAT team came to his house to serve a search warrant
Guerena's wife, Vanessa, said the SWAT team did not identify themselves
Thinking it was a home invasion, Guerena got his rifle
Now, Pima County Sheriff's officials are refuting original claims that Guerena fired at the SWAT members. In fact, they confirmed his safety was still on when his gun was recovered. Also, officials said that reports that some SWAT officers' shields were riddled with bullets are also untrue.
SWAT gunned Jose down with 71 rounds fired in just about seven seconds; officials said they did not expect Vanessa to be home with their four-year-old son, Joel, who ended up witnessing his dad's death. Now he has questions about what happened, like so many others.
"The only thing he asked me, 'Mom, my dad a bad guy? They killed my dad! Police killed my dad? Why? What did my dad do?'" explained Guerena.
Jose's relatives want his children to know he did his best to be a great husband, dad and patriot.

This so called war on drugs has claimed another innocent life. You would think a nation could tell when a war is lost. I think 30-40 years of losing is enough.
But hey, prohibition makes for a lot of government jobs, which just means more and more things need to be banned. Pretty soon they will be knocking down doors in SF when a parent gives sugar to a fat kid.
Isn't that what we do to terrorists?
Or a Predator drone...
NO cheers, unfortunately.
“This so called war on drugs has claimed another innocent life. You would think a nation could tell when a war is lost. I think 30-40 years of losing is enough.”
Unfortunately, the statists on the left and right agree on this issue.
(And, no, I don’t use drugs.)
Time to do away with swat team nazis. They want to be special forces, we should round them all up and send them to Afghanistan. Sorry, I’ve just had my fill of this bullshit. This happens just WAY TOO OFTEN. Even the EPA has a swat team.
SWAT thugs strike again. Every damned one of them should be fired and brought up on charges. Too bad the Marine didn’t cap a few of them.
Thugs with badges invaded the home.
Again I ask “When will the people get enough?”
At least they didn’t shoot the dog!/s
They are dead meat for a legal fight. That safety setting is the death of them. Mother effing liars. They ought to be strung up and hung. Or better yet, allowed to go home, and then have a bunch of armed people burst into their home and fire a few magazines of bullets into them.
Sons of bitches.

Going Great Guns

"Forbes: I was in Colorado, and I knew people who had 200, 300 guns. And they'd stash them in various hidden places around their compound. This wasn't all that uncommon out west."

"Sonders:...we have gone from a couple decades ago being a manufacturing economy to more of a service-oriented, information economy. That has just displaced permanently a lot of workers,..."
That Marine instinctively tried to protect his family from a bunch of SWAT thugs. Unbelievable.
This is a home invasion—execution style from government thugs.
If they ever actually used SWAT the way they sold SWAT to the public this kind of bullsh1t would not happen. The only places they would be raiding would be known drug houses, the houses all the cops know are gang headquarters. They would be going in en masse, into fortified drug houses and gang lairs and blowign away the scum.
That is where they said SWAT was going to be used. Not for this civillian bullsh1t.
When will the people get enough of State tyranny? Ummm....when we see neighbors uniting together against tyranny and mowing down SWAT teams that are invading.
“Authorities told KGUN9 that three other neighborhood homes were targeted Thursday, all tied to a narcotics conspiracy. They say a large amount of cash was found at one of the homes. But, not at the Guerena house; all they said they found there was “evidence pertinent to the case.” At this time, officials aren’t saying anything more. However, Vanessa Guerena has insisted there were no drugs or money in their home.”
The way homes are built these days, bullets will punch through one wall and then through a neighbor's wall like a sharp pencil through tin foil. Amazing nobody else got killed.
That's because they use scumbags for informants, like most 3rd rate PD's around the country, every now and then, they use a no-knock warrants against a BS story and get their butts blown off. It happens a lot more than the state run media wants you to know. Unfortunately, in this case, it was the resident.
“It is interesting that the police initially lied to the public and still have a job.”
From what I have observed in these cases, if you don’t have video, those responsible will just do a rope-a-dope until the public heat dies down, then it’s back to business.
Keeping your video out of the hands of the jackboots seems to be the key.
Lets see. They fired 71 shots. He fired 0. This was no accident. This was no mistake. This was intentional. This was murder.
Far too many conservatives and Freepers love this sort of thing, anytime the cops get all Ramboed up and go kick in a door in the name of the war on done drugs...
