The Rev. Jacob Jester wasn’t trying to start anything.
But when he saw security screeners at Kansas City International Airport patting down a baby — a baby — he took a picture. And then he shared that picture on Twitter.
It went viral, and voila: Jester’s snapshot is the flashpoint of the day in the debate over who should be considered a threat to the flying public.
Not what he intended, Jester said Tuesday, after the image had been picked up by The Drudge Report and the Daily Mail in London, among others, and viewed nearly 300,000 times.
“I thought it was a curious situation,” said Jester, a pastor at a youth ministry in Independence. “I have a son about the same age — 8 months old — and I thought that I would not want that to happen to my own child.”

Searching for the ole poopypants bomb! The only thing that could have made the photo better is if the screener had been a Muzzie.
In a sane world we’d use profiling.
I’m struggling to find words to describe my disgust at these people.
We live in an age where pictures of our children standing naked at the side of the tub are considered pornographic, but it’s okay to search the diaper of an infant at an airport in the name of national security.

Yes, in a sane world we would do security like Israel.
Instead, look for it to become illegal to photograph or record the TSA procedures.
Only Middle Eastern babies should be patted down, because you know the Islamic parents would think nothing of sacrificing their child with a dirty bomb.
Sadly, I have no doubt that those who would use terror tactics would have no issue at all of hiding a bomb on the person of an infant.

Yup. Profiling is the only thing that really makes sense. (And patting down a Muslim baby would be entirely justified.)
