I want their jobs - I can make predictions that are wrong too.

I can be surprised when I’m wrong.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New U.S. claims of alcoholism unexpectedly rose last week, bouncing back above the key 400,000 level, following a government report Thursday which once again used the word “unexpectedly”.

I know. I had some silver coin I got at 10 bucks> I sold it at 20 bucks and patted myself on the back...Whups.But again I think when a huge bank run hits there is not enough actual cash for them to cover. That would make Cash good to have also.

“Galt is calling upon a lot of us too.Especially with the performance of the GOP House.”

I tend to agree with you. I think that the economy is pulling in two different directions: the official and the off-the-books. There is no real way I know of to measure the off-the-books side, but there are some things that hint at it, such as the increase in M1 versus M2 money supply.

This might also explain, in part, why real estate isn’t recovering very well. It’s not like those who are working off-the-books can go and get a home loan these days.
