Trump warns of 'greatest scam' ever
CNN ^ | 03/31/2011 | CNN Political Unit

It's official: Donald Trump is a "birther." But he'd prefer you don't use that term.

Speaking to MSNBC Thursday, the business mogul and improbable presidential candidate reiterated much of what he has said in the last several days when it comes to doubting President Obama's birthplace, declaring, "I am embracing the issue, and I'm proud of the issue. I think somebody has to embrace it."

He’s only going to be on the defensive when there is a court that is willing to enforce a consequence for non-compliance.

He is trying to start a third party to split the Republican vote. Wake up.

I am awake thank you. This issue is bigger than parties or politics. Its preserving our Constitution that is at stake here. I don't care why the Donald is doing what he's doing or what his end game is politically - I'm just thankful SOMEONE is shining a light on the festering wound that is crippling our Republic.

If this issue is not settled, and Obama is NOT forced to prove his eligibility, we have NO CONSTITUTION any longer. Have you thought of the insidious ramifications of that one? Any tin pot dictator from any 3rd world nation can waltz right in here, take over the oval office, without ever having to prove squat about his origins. The American 'people' have proven they are gullible idiots who who will vote for whoever and whatever their party & a treasonous media tells them to, and soon we're all living in a gulag.

The one and ONLY thing that protects us from the above is preserving our Constitution AS WRITTEN. If we don't preserve the rule of law we descend into lawlessness. And when that happens goodbye freedom. And when that happens you're not going to care about third parties because there won't BE any parties!

Where's the remote?
Chuck and Savannah and Trump
By JULIE MASON | 03/31/11

(snip)

Todd, lifting his head from his hands, tried another argument:

“Do you really believe that the Clinton machine circa 2007 actually didn't spend some time looking into this? Do you really believe that John McCain and the Clinton campaign really would have rolled over and participated in this grand conspiracy?”

“It's not that much of a conspiracy; it's very simple,” Trump said. “Chuck, it's really not. If you look at what's taken place, it's really not.”

Cue: confusion over the hospital where Obama was born, three days before the announcement was in the paper, no nurses ever came forward, blah, woof, honk.

“Why doesn't he issue his birth certificate?” Trump asked.

“He did!” they replied in unison.

exactly. he knows darn well what obama is hiding regarding the entire birth certificate issue, and the fact he brings it up now means he intends to disclose it at some point.

his ‘greatest scam’ comment is telling, because I bet that in fact that is factually what he believe this is.

Just watched the video. Trump made mincemeat out of those people without getting angry, and they didn't DARE treat him too badly as he pointed out he has NBC’s number one show. LOL. Trump is eating their lunch and they think they are winning.

The MBNBC video clearly shows a pair of left-wing bedwetters who quickly lose control of the issue to a more forceful individual.

Watch the looks of silliness slowly leave and scowls of concern cover their mugs as he reveals more and shoots through the many WH talking points.

And “The Donald” only knows a portion of what he will soon find out. Wait until he begins to spew about the SS #!

Please run Donald! Paaaleeease run and stay above the fold for the next year!!!

A billionaire businessman running for president, when did this happen before? A former Hillary supporter suddenly saw the conservative light?

He is getting exposure on MSNBC, CNN, and other leftwing controlled media while barely generating any outrage from the left. Something stinks about this.

you don’t know what trump misses or not, and i seriously doubt he doesn’t understand the natural born/father issue. He is very likely focusing on a single part of the story because it is a single concept tv viewers (not the sharpest population sample) can easily understand - obama is hiding his birth certificate.

once you get off into the chester arthur model, viewers eyes are going to glaze over. when you say ‘he has no history anywhere and hides his bc’, it gets a point across.

also, the fact he is doing this tells me he actually knows what/where/fromwhere is obama’s bc, and why he won’t disclose it.

Yes, this issue transcends political parties, just as the lawlessness in Iraq transcended the Shiite-Sunni divide - as they eventually came to realize, but only when their own children were being served to them on platters by people who claimed to be on their own “team”.

Both parties are beheading our children’s futures and serving them to us on a platter. Because a future without the rule of law or the protections of the Constitution is so shaky it would allow Islamists to come in and take over, or the communists, or any number of things forbidden by the Constitution.

I will happily stand alongside Phil Berg and other non-Republicans while this danger is present. Once we have our country back I will happily be a respectful adversary if he tries to get Hillary elected, but that’s only when we can get back to politics. This isn’t politics; this is full-out war against America the Beautiful. Once we’ve defeated the enemy that seeks to destroy this country, we can worry about politics again.

I think Obama may have thought that America would rally to the president if we were engaged in a war. His advisors had said he needed another Oklahoma City bombing, and shortly after that there was Tucson. But that didn’t give Obama any lasting bump. But the country always rallies when they’re engaged in war, right? Well.... this “kinetic military action” is not gaining Obama any lasting bump either.

But Obama HAS united some strange bedfellows, because people of totally different POLITICAL views, backgrounds, and affiliations have come together over something even more important, and more binding: love of justice and of our Constitution. It’s almost as if the country IS uniting to battle an enemy, but it’s the enemy within rather than the enemy outside. And some people are finding themselves on a different side than they always thought they were on - or at least others are seeing what side they seem to be on. I hope they recognize that different battle lines have been drawn; the old ones don’t really work any more.

Bill O’Gasbag and Karl Rove, two peas in a pod. I used to like both of them, but lately they’re showing their true color and its blue! Go Judge Napolitano! He should replace O’Gasbag and soon! Like you I’ve never trusted Trump, but on this issue he’s standing up and he has enough presence to keep the matter in front of the public.

Sure Donald knows about 5% of what Taiz knows. Did everyone who watched last night not see that he is a big union supporter, who wouldn’t endorse Wisconsin governor’s action, he just weazle worded his way around the question.

Granted he has to deal with the crooked unions to stay in business, he bragged about how well he worked with the wonderful unions, I do believe Obama said the same thing.

Trump and Rush have joined the chorus. They must have proof or know who does. The heat will be turned up now and whomever is behind this fraud will have to start singing or they, too, will be visiting prison. Then there’s Queen Pelosi who signed off on Barry.

If one does not ensure that the Law that is the Constitution is followed, then what good are “Conservative credentials” at all?
Virtually all of those in Congress {at least 2/3rds} have had time enough time to raise the issue, don’t you find it strange that none has? It is because that enforcing the Constitution is a RADICAL departure from “tradition.”

I applaud Donald’s efforts, that does not mean I necessarily support him for President.

I have no problem with what he is doing. But I'm unwilling to accept his sudden conversion to full blown conservatism at face value. His conservative track record is nonexistent compared to other names often mentioned as possible Republican presidential nominees.

John did not prove his eligibility, he merely showed his birth certificate and the Senate declared how nice that was.
