It's official: Donald Trump is a "birther." But he'd prefer you don't use that term.
Speaking to MSNBC Thursday, the business mogul and improbable presidential candidate reiterated much of what he has said in the last several days when it comes to doubting President Obama's birthplace, declaring, "I am embracing the issue, and I'm proud of the issue. I think somebody has to embrace it."

The Birth Certificate needed to be brought up but the Dem have made it a kook test to politically kill with...
So enter Trump...he has the hi profile to take it mainstream but being independent....the party has the ability to stay clear of Dem smears...

exactly as many here have said, he knows the answers of the doubts he is raising....It’s just a matter of playing it out. The WH knows this too.
And being the showman that he is, he is purposely “bobbling” a few things to keep the controversy going.... Can anyone seriously imagine that he hasn’t had a expert team go over all of this before hand? Trump ain’t winging nothing.
Take his costant references to “people” as there are no “people”, classmates, doctors, etc. that say they knew Obummer. Any cop can tell you, you can forge, hide, destory, seal records, you can’t create a person after the fact.
An eligibility American Patriot. Thank god there is at least one.

I love people who know the wheat from the chaff! The Donald is the only public figure who dares to question whether the Emperor is naked! Even now no one else has even dared to likewise query.
Every single potential candidate should have said, by now, that they either have wonders about the vetting process for Obama’s eligibility,, or even the chicken poop response of “I believe it is time to insist all presidential candidates to prove their natural born citizenship.”
They care far more about winning or themselves than whether or not Obama is eligible to even be our President.
BOR did not dismiss Trump as a crazy however. Miller went as far as saying he’d vote for him.
really? and you think they can get any genius IRS agents to volunteer to go up against real tax experts and lawyers who will bash their brains out and create a living hell for them actually having to learn tax law the way the teach it in the big leagues?

So, his lack of conservative credentials is not a deterrent?
Unlike Lou Dobbs, Trump cannot be fired.
And as a candidate for POTUS, he cannot be swept under the rug by the MSM.
And as a powerful man, it will be very difficult for Obama to scare or buy Trump off.
And as an unlikely candidate, he takes the heat off of the GOP frontrunner.
And as a Hillary suppporter, and Bush hater, he cannot be dismissed as a ‘TEA party operative’ or similar rot.

Donald Trump may be the perfect advocate for this issue.
I have to disagree with Trump on his comment. Obama’s place of birth is not the greatest scam ever - that would be Barack Obama himself. HE is the greatest scam ever pulled on this nation.
I didn’t know that about Trump but I’ve wondered if he may not have some kind of ace-in-the-hole. He’s not dumb, and I can’t see him pursuing this just on a whim or with no idea he may be right.
forgot to add...Trump most likely will have the agents former supervisors on his staff, scolding their former IRS staff...saying “you were stupid when you worked for me and you haven’t improved...go get me a cup of coffee”.

Why cant he hire a private detective or something? Or do a reality show “Where is Obama from” Hollywood can find the answer quick. No joking with all the questions I cannot believe the Nightly News just doesnt show All forms of birth certificates and what about people he grew up with. Where are they?
I don’t know why he’s doing it or for whose benefit, but this is his “best ever” stunt. He’s a P T Barnum of the 21st Century and he’s putting on a great show! I hope he’s got the goods and I can’t wait until he unloads it.
He wasn't just talk, he had valid points how he would do it. I think he LOVES AMERICA and can't stand to see what this BOZO is doing to it.
I also think, he knows it is going to take someone with alot of money to out BOZO, and he is the one to do it!
