Financier and progressive activist George Soros is formulating a move to control food and grain production by purchasing grain elevators in late March in several parts of the United States through his subsidiary company Gavilon Grain. With some purchases made on March 29th, Soros will become the third largest grain company behind Cargill, and Archer-Daniels Midland.
With strong ties to the Obama administration, Soros now has both the economic, and political clout to begin consolidation of purchasing and shipping domestic agriculture around the world.

We also think the dollar is toast. Unless the Congress takes drastic action and they won’t we are in for a hard landing. Whats happening in Europe is coming to a neigborhood near us soon. My fiancee’ is selling patents to a company in SA. They will only pay in their currency. My good friends just went on vacation in Eastern Europe and they could not use dollars in any of the countries like Romania etc. Nobody wants dollars. Its going to be really bad before it gets better.

Earth quakes open up underground volcanoes. Those volcanoes heat the water. Heated water changes the air temperature. A change in air temperature changes our air currents - which regulates our seasons. Our growing seasons bring us our crops. Those crops are our food source.
Any or all of them. Why wouldn't he? As long as he feels he can protect it, it would be the perfect instrument to becoming master. And he'll have the means to protect it by paying his "troops" with food security. That's essentially how the warlords in Somalia stayed in power.
As for corn; how much of the corn crop goes to ethanol? Will that increase? And how does it affect other crop yields if farmers opt to (are paid to) grow corn for ethanol rather than other crops?
