The only thing this letter should have said is the time and date of the Impeachment Hearing.

One great point....Obie consulted with other nations....forgot to consult with the US Congress.

Obie is a dictator.

The Obama administration is laughing their collective rear ends off.

Milquetoasts like Boehner send letters regarding their concerns while the left plays political hardball.

Until we get rid of the RINO idiots we are lost. They do not understand that, just like the left enabling the Muslims, they will be wiped out if the left gets to take over.

It is regrettable that no opportunity was afforded to consult with Congressional leaders, as was the custom of your predecessors

Since when is following the Constitution merely a custom?

I have no use for Boehner. He is a wimp. I was floored with the crybaby stuff. How can you take a man seriously when he acts like a girl?

Most of the rest of the Replublicans are no better. Unlike the Democrats they do not understand that this is a closed fist war for the country. They should be all over Obama. Heck, the Democrats that are calling for impeachment at least have some stones. The Republicans are all totally gay.

I sense that the mood of the electorate is that the stimulus and obamacare were just fun and games, but when you commit us to a war without end, you’ve gone a bridge too far. Right and left are both starting to abhor him, and that’s not a good place for a president to be.

A letter? Boehner wrote Obama a letter? What a namby pamby! We didn’t need another one in Washington! Where is the outrage? Where are the impeachment proceedings? Where are the strong Godly men who fulfill their oaths of office?

Far too long, too vague, and too polite. Who on earth is going to read this thing?

And he says he is “troubled.” Gee, that’s too bad, Boner. I’m sure Obama didn’t mean to trouble you. That’s probably why he didn’t involve you in the process. Go have a drink or something, and calm down.

What a useless wimp.

This is a weak letter. The Speaker should have reminded the president that absent a threat to the USA requiring immediate action, the authority to go to war rests with the United States Congress, per the Constitution. (Any other interpretation renders meaningless the power to declare war.) Congress should vote on this, not merely be consulted.

Actually, Boehner asks a lot of very pertinent questions. He isn’t dealing in generalities. If the first paragraph nods toward Zeroman and the Office of the Presidency could’ve been left out, it would’ve been better.

But then Boehner wouldn’t have been demonstrating “civility”.

I don’t think it’s a bad letter overall.

I and the other citizens of the world and assorted fellow travelers are deeply saddened that our Chosen One, our Nobel Peace Laureate, the Chalice of all our hopes and dreams, Obama the Merciful and Beneficent, has abandoned the road of peace that we thought we where embarking on when The One was elected.

Wait! It's not his fault! That witch Hillary Rodham Clinton goaded him into it, if not put a spell on him. Whew! That's a relief. He's still our man!

If I were Speaker of the House, I wouldn’t have written that letter with such a respectful tone.

I think a full list of charges, with the date of the Congressional hearing would have been more appropriate.

I’m having trouble finding anything in this letter that suggests that the Consititution might obligate the President to seek the approval or even the advice of all or any part of the Congress. Why are GOP leaders so frightened by Obama? Note also that Boehner and Issa have both refused requests by the public to even subpoena the Hawaiian birth records.
