Before protesters stormed the capitol, the Mayor of the City of Madison tried to pull a fast one. The Governor's budget repair bill was on the fast track, and Madison Mayor Dave Ciesliewicz was racing against the clock to pass new union contracts first.
E-mails obtained by the FOX6 Investigators show that the mayor enlisted the help of State Senator Mark Miller. They both tried to convince the Secretary of State to hold up the bill by taking the maximum 10 days allowed by law before publishing the bill.
They were trying to buy some time so they could ratify new contracts to protect workers from benefit cuts. Citizens for Responsible Government Rep. Chris Kliesmet says, "This suggests, and this is a harsh word, collusion. There is collusion between some politicians and public sector employee unions. Period."

Where the heck are the conservative lawyers?I don't know, but they sure seem to be hiding like democrats. Keep in mind they would be going up against a very dangerous mafia like machine. It would be prudent to understand it is not just about their lawyer fee's etc., but it would also require their security and protection.
The GOP is too RINO(chicken) to do this. It is going to be up to We the People and we must find our courage and bravado NOW.

it is not just about their lawyer fee's etc., but it would also require their security and protection.I do understand how serious it is. But it must be done. I just hope we can find the will and the people to do it.
This is a real war. We need to fight it or roll over and watch our republic die. I don't want to do that.

Thanks for your personal testimony about how corrupt and self serving union contract negotiations are in the public sector. In the private sector shareholders are represented at the negotiating table. In the public sector taxpayers have no representation at the negotiating table. Taxpayers only have hacks who pretend to be negotiating on their behalf

thanks for the information. there is probably a lot more to come. keep in mind Dane County being the liberalist county in Wisconsin. The State Offices being staffed by primarily Democrats as employees will show forth a lot more corruption and greed to slow the attempts of Governor Walker.
There will be more complicity discovered within the ranks of the State Employees in Madison. It will not just by the Secertary of states Office, it will include department of administration employees department of Transportation, Police Capitol, City, County and State, Fire and others.
having lived in Madison. My eyes were opened to lots of issues that I never saw before in my lifetime. In doing a required practicum course for working with people whom are developmentally disabled in supported employment. My eyes were opened to the issue of a ‘partner’ of an attractive female. A partner being her female partner.
I asked to switched to a different worksite immediately for the practicum. I was switched to a Christian organization Intervarsity Christian fellowship to do my practicum of people with dvelopmental disability in Supported Employment. A much nicer place to finish the requirements for a BSW. An MSW had a whole different requirements and a different set of learning experiences.
One thing I can remember being told I must be able to be come more tolerant of others with diverse views and so forth. My response was no I do not have to be tolerant , because the tolerance to my own diverse views is being told I am wrong. Being a conservative in Madison was a challenge.
Unfortunately there will be more corruption and diversionary tactics discovered at many levels throughout Dane County, City of Madison and within the State of Wisconsin, governemt at all levels.
As FR do we expect not to see how corrupt and devious the Democrats are. They will not go out of power unless the kick and scream and strive to do collusion, corruption and even commit crimes to justify their existence. A democrat whom is in power will not go without striving to destroy an entire State, so the union idiots can foster their own deception.

What these IDIOTS at the city level fail to realize is that they’ve just signed their LIVES away to the unions! Once the budget is passsed, and it will be, the money flow from State Government to the cities and municipalities will be drying up!
So, they have essentially locked themseves in to more costly union contracts...and there won’t be money to pay for them! (Not that there even is now!)
So, look for garbage strikes and no road repairs in your near future! Hope you don’t need a cop or a fireman or an EMT to help yo, because they’ll be on strike, or so short-handed as to be unavailable!
Thanks again, Liberals! Man, you guys sure know how to screw the taxpayer at every turn...all for the benefit of your union buddies! Grrrr!

Meanwhile, as everyone is focused on the corruption issue, the rush to get new public sector contracts to protect workers from benefit cuts will amount to a huge tax increase in local communities, if Walker’s budget repair bill passes. There will not be the state funds supplied to the local communities to cover the union mandated (negotiated) increases - as was done under Doyal et al in the past.
If the bill passes, then the unions and their shills in the Dem Party will attempt to blame locally imposed tax increases on Walker.

And what are the dull-witted, useless pubs doing about it? Nothing. Not a damn thing, as usual.
Oh, wait. They’re accommodating them by meeting secretly with them at their beck and call.

I agree. The GOP are a bunch of wimps. Waiting and relying on them to do anything right is stupid.
How many of these jurisdictions/municipalities succeeded in getting their contracts done while Walker and the pubs jerked off, too chicken to even pass a voter ID or bust up some gun laws while waiting for the unions and the slob commie government bastards to get their ducks in a row for their fatassed contracts??

I disagree with you on some points. Walker and the GOP have stood firm, resolute. I have walked to the Capitol amid this crowd and been inside and it is intimidating. The cowards are the fourteen senators who have run from their responsibility. There have been people working round the clock for days now trying to bring some force to the absent dems. People have been intimidated and I don't just mean at the Capitol and on the isthmus of Madison. The real intimidation isn't occurring there where there are cameras and it is public. There are leftists whose entire world view is confined to the isthmus...including the mayor, but the Union thugs have been having private “conversations” at private businesses to intimidate people who oppose them in other parts of Madison, in other parts of Dane County and other parts of the state. It is chilling.
There are cowards in the GOP, no question, but there are some people working very, very hard to honor the constitution and the laws of the land and yet bring force to bear on these fourteen cowards. The Unions have a long and remarkable history of graft, corruption, intimidation, violence and general lawlessness....it is nearly impossible to counter that with meaningful civil response, especially when local law enforcement is unwilling to cooperate. The teachers have now demonstrated that they follow the unions/Dems and support those same tactics of general lawlessness.
It is a hostile environment in Madison, but there are a few very brave people willing to try and bring force to bear on these fourteen cowards. It is not as easy as it appears from a distance.

It would be prudent to understand it is not just about their lawyer fee's etc., but it would also require their security and protection. Even if it doesn't involve personal security, the Machine would also make it a point to make the lawyers' other clients miserable. Visualize somebody compiling a list of companies and individuals that the lawyer has represented, and posting the list as "These entities are associated with anti-labor lawyer Joe Smith"

I’m interested in hearing more about these off-site intimidation encounters you speak of. How many? Where? Whom? Of what nature are the tactics used?
