Video of several carloads of Tea Partiers chasing a 'short bus' full of Democrat State Senators north on Interstate 94 would just be seven kinds of awesome!

No short bus, but two of them were caught in the motel parking lot as they prepared to flee.

Video Here

You can expect parents to file class action lawsuits in that district under WI law relatively soon :)

Failure to appear and you surrender your position. Just like "forgetting" to pay taxes as a sitting loafing Senator.

DUmocrats have no business running for elected office.

They’re Democrats. Wherever there are hookers, gambling and booze, that’s where they will be.

Generally the word brave is not followed by the word fled.

It's part of their strategery.

Let ‘em stay out. This is going to backfire on them. Keep this issue in the public eye as long as possible. Taking on the bloated public employee unions is a stone-cold winner for us. Christie did it in NJ, and he’s more popular than ever. The more they cry, the more they scream, the more they’re being exposed for who they are.

so what we have here is.
teachers and other workers paid by tax payer not working while still getting tax payers money.
Elected officials who were voted in to vote and do work for the good of their state running away from their duty and going into hiding.
The president is using his website to back , promote and run this protest including thuggery on peoples property, outside houses etc.

Surely there has to be a law against all of this and why has the GOP not said about obama being involved in this thuggery?

Is this act of courageous fleeing what is referred to as “Hope and Free Range?”

The Republicans need no forum to stop the unions. Just let the state government paychecks come to a halt. Whats so hard about that? Let the budget expire. I’m hoping the US congress does this.

And they call it “freedom” for the taxpayers to be forced to hire only certain people?

Somebody who commented at Gateway Pundit nailed it, said it’s really about union dues going to campaign for politicians who then get sweetheart deals for the unions. It’s political racketeering.

Sort of like Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, the stimulus, etc which act as sluch funds for politicians who are willing to sell their power as a commodity to those willing to pay.

Sort of like the democratic campaign contributions of BP so the regulators would look the other way when they failed to keep up their blow-out preventer standards. Etc.

I heard the Senate rules require that at least one member of the opposite party must be present.
