'Conservative' joins homosexual lobby

The former executive director for the American Conservative Union has agreed to serve on the advisory council for GOProud, a homosexual lobby that has approved of same-sex "marriage" and the repeal of the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy that allowed homosexuals to serve in the military if they didn't make an issue of their lifestyle choice even though the law banned that.

According to an announcement today from GOProud, Chuck Muth, the former executive director of the ACU, is joining the GOProud leadership team.

Christopher Barron, chairman of GOProud's board, said in a prepared statement the organization was honored to have Muth joining.

"A person doesn't have to be straight to think right," Muth said in the statement. "While it's expected that not everyone will agree with every position of any given organization, GOProud certainly meets Ronald Reagan's 80 percent threshold for qualifying as an ally."

He continued, "I would remind those who wish to exclude gays from the conservative movement that we win majorities through addition, not subtraction."

Muth joins Grover Norquist, Andrew Breitbart, Liz Mair and Margaret Hoover on the council.

Muth, a political communications consultant, has served as the chairman of the Clark County, Nev., GOP, and was the executive director of the Nevada Republican Party.

"Chuck is one of the most well respected voices in the conservative movement and we are incredibly fortunate to have him join the GOProud team," said Barron in the statement.

No,I'm talking about censorship—you are allowed to attend a GOProud circle-blow if you so wish—whether you belong there or not is moot as far as the US Constitution is concerned.
Of course the homosexuals have the right to exclude you if it is a private affair (and unfortunately they usually aren't) but you are allowed to try and do have a right to be there if it is a government sponsored function unless prevented by a law or regulation consistent with the US Constitution. CPAC this year was a train wreck with a few well spoken conservatives and many loud spoken looney tunes. The organizers are to blame not any outsider and only those actually there can assume any responsibility--not those who were not there but gave their support for the constitutional principles that gave the event the right to be a train wreck.

Ahhh ... not so sure about that. They don’t own the Dem party. They just have some influence in it. But even still, trying to get stuff taught in the classrooms is iffy for them but even if they succeed, it’s not as deadly as some gang-banger/illegal alien thug.

We certainly have to stop that and I think we’re somewhat successful.

But here’s the 30,000 foot view of it.

In front of you, you have roving packs of gang-bangers, and drunk driving, job-stealing, dangerous illegal aliens. This band extends out for miles.

Beyond that, 10 miles away, on a hill, is a well-manicured mansion where Tommy and Tim reside.

Saying a group should be allowed to participate in any political event is not an endorsement of their agenda.

I grew up believeing that you are judged by the company you keep!

Gang bangers are dangerous is you find your way into their neighborhood. The homosexual agenda is a major threat to freedom for every citizen.

Dire Strait's Money for Nothing was just censored in Canada because the lyrics contain the word faggot. Little old ladies in the UK are being charged with crimes for opposing gay pride parades. And, in the nation in Massachusetts, homosexuality IS being forced upon second graders against the wishes of their parents.

It's a ridiculous point. Whether GOProud was allowed at CPAC has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

The issue was and is whether homosexual activists should be allowed to have influence in the conservative movement. CPAC, apparently, has come to its senses and finally said no.
