Mubarak Speaks
McCain shows his tiny little balls and agrees with Obama that Mubarak needs to step down now. McCain once again seeks to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I don’t know, but wherever it came from, everyone, including the reporters on the scene were ratcheting these rumors up all day long. Panetta “almost” confirmed it. abu bama gave a cute little soundbite on it. Crazy people. I am livid! This government has become a laughingstock. They are completely unhinged! This is frightening!
Mubaraks announcement is just in time for the evening news here.
IMHO, The translation folks were trying to keep up with Hosni, and they were getting stuck at spots and trying to then catch up.
Why can’t HE retire.
It is a very dangerous precedent for a government to be changed by mobs in the street. While the Egyptian mobs may have some legitimate grievances, they are attempting to short-circuit their own form of constitutional government by forcing out the head of state to be replaced by the speaker of the house of their parliament as a short term head of state with elections being held in six weeks.
I have to keep asking myself, why not simply run candidates in the September elections rather than risk Egypt going the way of Russia in 1917 or Iran in 1978? Or is that the aim of those behind the mobocracy.
Get the hook!

Obama likes to destroy constitutions
Obama foreign policy? EPIC FAIL.
Interesting that all the MSM reports seem to be about what they wish would happen and what would be best for Obama rather than what is actually happening.
Exactly, by the mob overthrow standard, Glenn Beck could bring down the US government. ;-)
Re:constitutional government
Are you joking?
Mubarak is an autocrat who has held onto power for 30 years.
Sometimes mobs are warranted.....this clown amassed a fortune of $70B on our dime. Good riddance.
To put this in context, this would be like the Shah telling Carter to bite him, he isn’t leaving Iran...
Imagine how the world would be a different placce today.
that was hilarious.
You know *that* can't possibly end well.
lmao!!!
I think the Obama Whitehouse folks just tell each other what they want to believe and release it as “news”.
Even before this, Mubarak was actually talking about leaving in the fall and the question was whether his son would be his “replacement” candidate or if there would be someone else. It would be an open election, with only the Muslim Brotherhood being forbidden to participate.
The aim of those behind the mobocracy, which include Bill Ayers, the Code Pink idiot, and the Muslim Brotherhood, is to circumvent democracy through the press and an extremely pro-Islamist US president.
It's a shame "O" is exposing his lack of experience and embarrassing America in front of the whole world.
