Mubarak Speaks
Mubarak still controls the military, doesn’t he? I’m worried there might be a redux of Tiananmen Square before this is all over!
Doing the “Hokey-Pokey”.
Yep, his affirmative action degree hasn’t helped him in the least and affirmed his law degree in constitutional law is only honorary.
Waving shoes too.
Angry as you say! This is the “best” outcome for the Muslim Brotherhood, commies and other radicals. They can point and say, “Peaceful protest doesn’t work, let us show you how to do it!”.
“Crowd in Alexandra is furious (after Mubarak’s speech)” and is on the march toward the military base nearby...according to a reporter on the ground (Al-Jazeera live).
This isn’t going to be a good night for Egyptian mummies.
Call it a hunch.
If the Saudi king wants him to stay as was reported on FR yesterday, he stays. Obungler wrong again.
Damn straight! Time for Obama to put that NOBEL PEACE PRIZE to work!!!

Testifying in Washington before the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday morning, Panetta said, “There is a strong likelihood that Mubarak may step down this evening.”
This from the head of our CIA. Maybe Panetta should watch more cable news. I had a better idea than he did.
about to play Cairoboys vs Islamins
Obama is merely a weathervane. Oh how I miss Reagan right now.
What Mubarak is doing is going to hand the country on the platter to the MB, on a platter.
Its utter stupidity, someone on the inside needs to shoot him and get him out of the way.
I totally agree. Mubarak’s brinksmanship has stirred up anger, while offering no solutions.
He was all ready to accept the accolades with which the press was going to cover him. In turn, the press had buckets of rose petals (and maybe not just metaphorically) ready to sprinkle in his path.
Bwahahahahaha. Do I hear the frenzied sound of papers being shuffled and new script being written?
Cavuto is on FOX right now, but how much you want to bet Shep has to preempt Beck with the *news*.
So which of the Last King of Scotland’s thugs floated the rumor Mubarak was gone?
This is going to get ugly. How long does Mubarak really think he can maintain power?
Actually, I think it’s the opposite..the military conrolls Mubarak..Look, there’s no reason in the world for him not to leave..he could have gone anyplace, Switzerland, Germany..Saudi Arabia..taken his multimillions..lived a life of ease....so why stay..I think the military wants him there, to be the focus of the mob’s anger, while they consolidate their power, and prepare to deal witht he Muslim Brotherrhood..I think the military was caught flat-footed by this uprising...this is a delay game..
