Dem Strategy: Obama Will Call For Assault Weapons Ban Friday 01-14-2011 9:55am CT
MSNBC political analyst Pat Buchanan and Democratic strategist Mark Penn join Hardball's Chris Matthews to discuss President Barack Obama's address in Arizona.

Mark Penn also made this little prediction about Obama's need for another Oklahoma City bombing...
Well, damn. The availability of guns, components, accessories and even some ammo was nice while it lasted. Looks like Barry is intent upon keeping his “Gun Salesman of the Year” award for a third consecutive year.
Never let a good massacre go to waste.
My prediction: the 112th Congress will NOT ban semi-automatic rifles and pistols.
Then, the Mexican drug gangs and their American surrogates can grow shrooms in our National Forests.
I see a lot more problems with the idea of any door to door collection of guns than just the second amendment.
Illegal search and seizure (without probable cause, warrant), and confiscation of private property for starters, as well as the unpopularity of door to door searches that would be required from everyone since a lot/most of people would just claim they lost their weapons in that tragic rowboat accident.
I won’t even at that point...Thats their descision, not mine...
Obama is going for that NRA Salesman of the Year award again...
I really wouldn’t worry about this...If he utters a single word likke this during the State of the Union show, it will be the end of his Presidency...I hope they do spend a billion dollars on a losing campaign...It’ll be worth it to see that money go to waste...
In the meantime, when’s the next gunshow???
I wouldn’t either actually......just sounded good;-)
This does not surprise me. Obama wants to ban ALL guns.
