Someone want to explain to me again why the NRA should never support pro-gun Democrats and always support Republicans?

Pro Second Amendment only when convenient.

Let us also make it illegal to hunt deer in the King’s forest. These peasants must know their place, and bow down before their betters.

The real question is, what makes them so special?

I think maybe we should ban politicians from being within 1000 feet of guns. Or talking about them. Or legislating about them. Or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

I don’t know that there’s anyone around here who would accept the premise of that question, except for the fact that “pro-gun Democrats” are often nothing more than poseurs who answer to and cooperate with their own party’s leadership.

I heard that one of the people who tackled Loughner while he was reloading was himself carrying a concealed weapon and would not have approached trouble if he wasn't armed. Thus more would have died if this proposed law was in effect.

Still wouldn’t be very safe in DC. There’s a lawbreaker, I mean, lawmaker within a thousand feet of everything and everyone.

I am far from being a gun control guy, but if someone is not allowed to serve in the military due to psychological issues, shouldn’t that information be filed and then appear when someone attempts to legally purchase a firearm? That ceratinly would not be protected due to your medical records being private.

They are ALL statists at heart.
Does this apply to cops and secret service too??
We know it doesn’t apply to lawbreakers.

I want an amendment on this bill to FORCE it to apply to private bodyguards, Secret Service, FBI, ATF, and all other Federal and State agencies.
If citizens cannot be armed, then the damned government shouldn't be, either.
