Democrats plotted to blame the tea party patriots for yesterday’s slaugher in Arizona.
A democratic operative admitted this to The Politico.
Of course, Politico buried it in their story.

Interesting. Could be that just the 24-hour protection lasted a year, and partial protection continued.
One of the links I just gave said that he was in the middle of a suit over whether the law against “ethnic studies” in schools, which went into effect Dec 31st, could continue to be in effect. So there were still emotional issues that could/should have warranted protection.
From just looking at Google responses, seems like the threats he received were from all over the country and most of it came down to 4 people. I don’t know where those 4 people were from - if any were from Arizona.
I would still like to know who Loughlin made death threats against, and when. That could also be revealing. Probably doesn’t fit the narrative.

I don't think the Tea Party was on his radar.
When I saw all the hyperbole and rhetoric start turning against the “Tea Party”, I felt like this was a false flag type of operation.
Or a “Telefon” operation. Charles Bronson fans know what I mean.
I still want to know how this 22 y.o. kid hit his target with such lethality so many times in so few seconds. AFAIK, this kid was never in the military.
There are LEO shootouts with perps where the LEOs fire 50 rounds and no one gets killed.

Turns out that the feds couldn’t be involved in the investigation regarding Judge Roll if Roll had just on the spur of the moment decided to go visit his friend, as the sheriff claimed he did. So the FBI officer who filed the charges said that Judge Roll was there to do official duties. Claims he spoke to Giffords’ aide for a couple minutes, as evidenced by aerial video of the event.
I wonder who took aerial video of it.
The FBI filer says that Roll was informed of the Giffords event on or near Jan 7th, but didn’t say who informed him of it. I would love to know who informed him of it, and whether that person then expected that Roll would be at the event. How did the FBI confirm that he was informed of the event, and why did they not say who informed him of the event or in what context?
The charges only claim that Loughner INTENDED to kill Giffords and her aides but doesn’t say why it distinguishes between the deaths.
It does mention an envelope in a safe which had the words “I planned”, “assassination” and “Giffords”, and what they say appears to be Loughner’s signature. I don’t know if that’s all that was on the envelope or not. The assumption is that he’s saying he planned to assassinate Giffords. If so, he wanted everybody to think that Giffords is the target - provided that the envelope was genuinely written by him.
Which is kind of silly, since he could have made it very clear that Giffords was the target by actually shooting until she was dead and then shooting himself. For some reason his plan had to include seemingly random shots at the crowd as well.
That envelope - which seems to have had no grammar, his big fetish - could also mean that he planned to assassinate somebody else at the Giffords event. Filling in the blanks goes more than one way.
He did not end up assassinating Giffords. IIRC, she was still talking after she was shot. If that’s so then he knew she was still alive, and he didn’t bother to shoot her dead. The two people he supposedly intended to kill and in all that shooting he didn’t manage to kill either one.
He did assassinate Judge Roll, who the prosecutor claims did not just decide on the spur of the moment to pop in there.
The FBI definitely wanted to be able to investigate Judge Roll’s death. They contradicted the sheriff’s claims in order to be allowed to investigate.

And why did the sheriff presume to know why and how Judge Roll came to be at that event? How did he know what good friends Giffords and Roll were? The sheriff immediately presented the story that it was an accident that Roll was there, but his immediate claims didn’t withstand the scrutiny of the FBI.
Things don’t match up. Seems like the sheriff was very quick to paint a picture that he couldn’t have known but which he very much wanted everybody to believe.

Check out my forensics, but I seriously wonder whether Loughner was shooting past Giffords to hit Judge Roll, who was shaking her hand at the time she was shot.
The bullet went in her left temple and came out her forehead close enough on the left side that the bullet only impacted one hemisphere. It was a shallow, diagonal hit only on the left side of her brain.
Like the shooter wasn’t even necessarily aiming at her but at something past her - something in front of her and to her right, which is right where somebody shaking her hand would be. The person shaking her hand was Judge Roll.
Try to picture the scenario in your mind. He was less than 4 feet away from her when he shot. There’s only a certain location he could have shot from to make that kind of wound. If he had wanted to kill her from a position to her left and slightly behind her he could have shot her in the torso and had a much bigger target.
I wonder how tall Judge Roll is, and how tall Giffords is.

Last night my wife and I, after hearing medical doctors on FOX discussing her injury were asking one another, why and how her head injuries were not fatal on such a short distance and why the bullet would exit in the forehead instead going through her scull and exit the back side???

You think the shooter knew any of his victims other than the congresswoman? He was shooting anything in his vision...randomly. He didn’t have a clue who they were ...and didn’t care...including the judge!
