'Birther' arrested during Constitution reading
POLITICO ^ | January 6, 2011

A woman was arrested in the House gallery Thursday after interrupting a reading of the Constitution by yelling out her belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States.

When Frank Rep. Pallone (D-N.J.) read the part of Article II, Section 1 mandating that only a "natural-born citizen" may be president, the woman, seated in the front row of the public gallery, screamed "Except Obama, except Obama. Help us Jesus."

You're joking, right?

OMG!!

I’m guessing they’ll throw her in Leavenworth. In a cell next to LTC Lakin.

Uh, no. They won't.

Keep it in the news. At least Congress knows it can’t and won’t go away.

AP “reports” and edits the Constitution:

Just as Rep. Frank Pallone, D-N.J., was reading “no person, except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States” is eligible for the presidency, a woman in the visitor’s gallery yelled out, suggesting that it did not apply to President Barack Obama.

The natural born requirment is being treated as a nulity by the courts and by all members of Congress (both the marxist democrats and the socialist republicans). It will remain a nulity until such time as a “forcing” event is successfully launched and maintained. The bets are on hoping for an honest Secretary of State in the 2012 elections. Without a forcing event that isn’t strangled in the cradle (as that will surely be the response), then nothing can be done.

The only other option is to amend the Constitution to make the meaning explicit. However ANY reliance on elected Republicans to do this is delirium. All but the freshman class of Republican socialists have proven themselves to be traitors. My sense is most of the freshmen class will also be in violation of their oath soon.

The need to replace SO MANY traitors to achieve an amendment or another type of forcing event makes an attempt to end the nulity positively sisyphean.

Ms. Cao is a hero and patriot, the only one actually today in the House of Representatives.

When the Code Pink freaks accosted Ms Rice with red paint on their hands, were they arrested or simply ejected from the chamber?

What she did was an act of civil disobedence—no different than Blacks sitting at “white’s only” lunch counters and the front of the bus in the South years ago.

It is obvious that civil disobedient acts (sit-ins, freedom marches and the like) are effective ways to protest an unresponsive government. There is absolutely no reason for conservatives to remove that arrow from their quiver.

There it is. It took 146 posts before I saw the words I was looking for 'civil disobedience'

Examples through history of civil disobedience - that it works ... from David Thoreau to Gandhi to Mandela to Martin King.
