I am so pissed at the GOP. They are so pwned by the corn lobby and corporate agri-business.

The law of averages says that over time Congress would pass at least one bill that benefited us. The fact that they haven't shows they're acting in concert against us.

Does anybody know what’s in it? I can’t help believe that it’s another abomination. They’re getting more through in the lame session than the previous two years. It’s utterly disgusting.
We’re given more power and resources to unaccountable bureaucracies. Between that and the courts ruling by fiat, ours is no longer a representative republic.

Wow. This is a really seriously dangerous law, done in the cover of darkness.
It gives the government, in consort with mega agri-business, the ability to starve or crush anyone who tries to farm or sell produce on their own.
This is the most tragic lame duck session in history.

"Between that and the courts ruling by fiat, ours is no longer a representative republic." Throughout our history authors, alarmists and other nefarious actors have predicted we will wake up one day and find that our Republic has been taken over by a corrupt, socialist, ruling class without one shot being fired.
That day is now...

The GOP needs to be replaced. Replaced.
By the tea party.
Not cooperated with. Not helped.
Taken over. This is absurd. They’re spineless.

I posed this question on the other thread - which was pulled...
For the Parliamentarians and Legislative Scholars out there —
This bill, in its final form was passed by the House AS PART OF the Omnibus Spending Bill, which was subsequently defeated in its entirety....
How can the Senate now peel this part away from the Omnibus Spending Bill, and pass it as a stand-alone, if it was never passed by the House as a stand-alone??
Something stinks here - even more than the customary DC Stench....
