Yes I feel really sorry for Lakin. Somebody talked him into a bad idea. They are going to make an example of him to keep others from getting the same idea. Getting Obama out on eligibility is going to have to be done either through the SCOTUS or the Congress. More than likely he will be forced to resign in disgrace as soon as Darryl Issa starts investigating all of the Obama crimes in January.

That was quick, but it was a pretty easy case especially since he pleaded guilty to one charge and they only had one other charge to consider. He is luck that the jury found him guilty because now he can appeal on that ONE charge, but even appealing the one charge, he will have to complete the punishment of the self decided guilty plea. Perhaps a lawyer can help on this but is he going to be able to toll the entire thing? I don’t think he will be able to with a guilty plea that he decided but a lawyer probably could speak to this more so.

So this opens up an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the highest military court, which is composed of five civilians.
You just can’t question anything about this President’s past without ramifications.
I am hard-pressed to understand what exactly he would be guilty of. Can someone explain this verdict to me? (seriously, I really want to know). He swore to uphold the Constitution, it seems to me that is all he is guilty of.
The usurper could have ended all of these court cases two years ago with a $10 bill. Now, with this honorable man facing prison, Soetoro is looking more and more guilty. There is no BC and he is not a natural born citizen. He knows it. Congress knows it. The US Supreme Court knows it. The lower courts know it. The Pentagon knows it. Many throughout the world know it. It’s disgusting. It’s sickening. When will our Congress and Justices grow some and try him for treason?

1. They DID get to Issa, as was rumored around Thanksgiving then?
2. The FCC shuts down the Internet opposition sites on Dec 21, as is being suggested, thus eliminating any news except by word of mouth?

Appellate options are constrained, but not entirely foreclosed with respect to the guilty plea. On the finding of guilt by the jury panel, his appellate options are robust as a matter of law. But, as a practical matter, I'm not sure how much fruit it will bear. The case is pretty straight-forward. Of course, the jury instructions can sometimes pose some peril for the MJ. It will be interesting to see precisely what those instructions were.
Basically boils down to, “was he ordered to go”, and “did he go”. That’s all the UCMJ requires the prosecution to prove. Any mitigating circumstances aren’t considered until sentencing.
Class is not a word I would ever use when speaking of the trash currently in our White House.
His appeal will likely be based on his denial of the right to take any discovery or admit any evidence at trial to establish that his disobediance of orders was justified, i.e. that Obama is not a natural born citizen.
