The jihad against the Christians of Iraq continues apace, yet the world community continues to look the other way. "Iraq: Death threats continue to menace nation's Christians," from AKI, November 26 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
Baghdad Nov. 26 (AKI) - Fresh death threats against Christians residing in Iraq are terrorising families and inciting them to flee, according to reports from 'al-Hayat' newspaper, which cites interviews from Iraqi security officials.
Seven hand written messages for which Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility were found in various locations throughout the city, Abdullah al-Nawafili, a Christian community leader in the Iraqi capitol, Baghdad confirmed.
"Threats of these types have been coming in over the past few days that push us to leave the country," he said.
The messages were delivered to the Camp Sara neighbourhoods of Baghdad which is home to a predominantly Christian population as well as the districts al-Amin and Baghdad al-Jadid and were written on white paper resembling doctors prescription pads. "Leave Iraq immediately or you will be killed by us," the notes read....
American atheists probably rejoice at this news.
Well, after all a democracy has it’s limitations...

Photographs of slain Iraqi Christians are placed during a mass at Our Lady of Salvation church in Baghdad, Iraq, Sunday Nov. 28, 2010.

I would be happy to sponsor an Iraqi Christian in the US. As a matter of fact I will trade a dozen Somolis for one Iraqi Christian.
Good man.
Bring it on, Muslimes.
“...yet the world community continues to look the other way.”
.
I can understand the World as it looks the other way when Christians are persecuted. But neither do I see any of our ‘Christian’ congress critters doing or saying anything about it, either. (I wonder if any of them said their Thanksgiving prayers.)
Aren’t we supposed to be the ones who ‘saved’ Iraq from Saddam Hussein? We certainly didn’t do the Christians any favors for deposing Saddam, who never harmed them.
Can’t you just feel the love............
Gosh, they sure are lucky American troops are there.
I flew 225 combat hours in Iraq and wore a crucifix around my neck. I was told if I was shot down and captured it would go very bad for me because of the crucifix. I think that whether I had a crucifix or not it would have been bad anyway.
I think these people had better listen and get outta Dodge.
Now if only we had the balls to tell the Moslems to do the same thing here.
There's a rule somewhere that says, "It's not a good idea to eject over an area that you just bombed."

Indeed. Thank you, George W. Bush.
The United States should never have become involved in a war to establish any “Islamic Republic” anywhere in the world. Just what have we achieved, at enormous cost, by our conquest of Iraq? We have set up another Shiite regime, and removed a counterbalance to Iran in the region. Another dumb product of the Bush regime, which relied on “intelligence” from a CIA run by a Clinton appointee.
And to think that Obummer wanted us to get out of Iraq!
We should grant this oppressed minority preferential immigration to the US, instead of importing islamofascists left and right.
Come to Texas, y'all. You don't even need papers. And once you get here, hell, I'll give you a gun and a job.

I, as well. Though it is tragic that they are being 'forced', if you will, to leave their homeland, the consequence of staying being massacre.
I wonder where all the numbnuts with the ‘COEXIST’ bumper stickers stand on this?
