Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that makes a lasting impression. A single smart comment or a couple of small gestures can really impress a woman, while an offensive remark or a display of carelessness can utterly doom your chances. A woman will decide relatively quickly whether or not you’re date-worthy, and all the little things you do or don’t do will help her make up her mind.

With these realities in mind, we’ve put together this list of the top 10 simple ways to impress a woman. Nothing complicated here. Nothing time-consuming or exceptionally difficult. But this list of habits, comments and behaviors could make the difference between getting her number and getting a dirty look.

10. Look her in the eye

Back in the day surefire never failed method. Go to your ATM and make a $10,000 deposit. Take the slip with you and use it when you trade numbers. Write your number on the back. I never even got out of the club without being return hit on.

Male or female, if you look for the kind ones you won't go wrong.

Truer words were never said.

I am not sure setting goals for marriage is shallow.

Some people want beauty and some people want money.

I know many people who chose a comfortable life because their life goals included it. I know whole families whose lchildren both male and female, married wealthy people. Why? Parents taught the children that there is more to a marriage than love. Shared values, faith and financial security figure in.

In my family, being able to sharpen a pair of sewing scissors seems to make you quite popular among the women folk.

That is a very specific thing. Most women will say, personality etc.....

You said that poor people have fewer divorces. Incorrect the vast majority is on the poorer side. Women are initially and for a time attracted to the money. That preference is even more pronounced than men judging on looks.

Notwithstanding, what you wife may say, she is impressed with men with money. Hey I even know lizzys that are impressed by men with money.

Gone, gone with the cash.... luckily I married a woman who liked to laugh. It made the fat times happier and the lean times bearable.

But what was that saying we had in the 60s? “Grass will get you through times of no money better than money will get you though times of no grass.” I always figured it was because grass at least made things seem funnier.

I have been faithfully married to the same beautiful woman for 38 years. She is why my heart bothers to take it’s next beat. She remains my only fantasy. Our Honeymoon has never stopped

Congrats! I'm only at 28 years... but, feel much the same way. OCCASIONALLY, I'll find my mind thinking about some girl I knew before we were married... but, then... I tell myself:

"What the hell? I've got WAY better memories of my own wife... here's one... "

I have found, no matter how old we get, she never tires of me grabbing her butt, rubbing her shoulders, or giving her a hug.

I thought this initial list was SO GOOD, I forwarded it to my two unmarried sons, two nephews, and several male employees! :-)

“You have just described your niece and her husband as both being very shallow people.”

Wow. That was unnecessary.

11. If she’s ugly, treat her like she’s beautiful.

12. If she’s beautiful, treat her like she’s ugly.

Here’s the ugly cousin of #11 and #12:

Treat a lady like a whore, and a whore like a lady.
