This thread is only for freepers who want Sarah Palin to be President in 2012. Please all (TROLLS)other stay out.
On top of that you have a Tea Party movement that will only get larger and more influencial. Tea Partiers have no way back to uninformed and uncaring, once the light goes on and the fire starts...
...and the policies that sparked the movement are only going to get worse.
I’m in all the way with Palin 2012!
It's impossible for the Palin Protectorate NOT to be offended by any type of criticism of her. The PP take personal offense at anything other than abject adoration of Palin which is what worries me.
The 2012 election is all about 6 states. Everything else will be a distraction created by the LSM, the RINOS and the ‘RATS.
Virginia
Ohio
Florida
Colorado
New Mexico
Iowa
P.S. If you’re from Iowa, why the hell did they vote for the Kenyan last time?
Pyngge!
First, the USA doesn't have "supreme leaders", we have presidents.
Second, it took more fortitude to resign than to stay, as all of her close advisers were telling her it would be "political suicide". She resigned, and is currently proving that the resignation was nowhere near being "political suicide", but a stroke of genius. From sinking into an oblivion of debt, she is now worth millions, and is well on the way to being the first female president of the USA.
Third, she demonstrates fortitude virtually on a daily basis, carrying on despite the constant attacks from the liberal media, and the Country Club Republicans.
You want "fortitude"??? She has it, in spades.
I’m in! Go Sarah!!
This lady has more stones than some of our supposed “Men” in the conservative movement.
Good grief, the defeatist threads that I’m beginning to see more and more of on FR is not a good sign! No offense to you good ladies, but how is it that women like Sarah, and Michelle Bachman have more stones and enthusiasm for victory than our “Men?”
I swear, I’ve gone to a few threads today, where guys are posting the most pathetic, defeatist crap I’ve ever read!
But I digress. I will do whatever it takes to elect Sarah should she decide to run!
Lets also make solemn pledge: “We will not abandon her like many others have, due to lies that the media continually repeat about her! We will reject the Media and the Socialists, NOT Sarah!”
Lets also do whatever we can to help destroy the MSM. We have phone cameras, we have the power of the internet. Lets make it our goal to destroy the corrupt institution known as the Mainstream Media!
I don’t think you’d have to worry about her staying President if she wins. I’ve heard you can’t sue Presidents like you can sue a Governor. No one would be able to sue her, so, there’d be no worries there, tho if that DID happen to her as President, I doubt VERY MUCH if she’d resign. I KNOW she’d see it through!
Sarah is ready:
Governor Sarah Palins Accomplishments that garnered her a whopping 92% approval rating:
Energy Independence, Development, and Environmental Stewardship
*Governor Palins cornerstone accomplishment is AGIA (Alaska Gasline Inducement Act). During the Palin administration, TransCanada and Exxon formed an alliance to build a natural gas pipeline from Alaska to the Lower 48. Under Governor Palins governance, the project was expanded and revised from what previous governors had proposed with an open policy process for the Alaskan people. More progress was made on this effort than in the previous 30 years. This is the largest private sector infrastructure project in North American history and helps put us on the path to energy independence.
*Governor Palins administration opened up drilling for oil and natural gas at Pt. Thompson for the first time in decades.
*Governor Palin created the Alaskas Petroleum Integrity Office to oversee all aspects of energy development and to make sure oilfield equipment was safe to operate and a Climate Change Subcabinet to comprehensively and honestly evaluate climate change.
Fiscal Conservatism

* Governor Palin reduced spending in her budget for Fiscal Year 2010 by more than one billion dollars from the previous governors Fiscal Year 2007 budget, a 9.5% real reduction in spending. Her FY2010 budget was $10.57 billion compared to Governor Murkowskis FY2007 budget of nearly $11.7 billion. At the same time, she fulfilled her campaign promise to forward fund education, allowing districts greater flexibility and predictability in their planning.
*Governor Palin opposed much of the “stimulus”, wanting only to accept 55% of the money allocated to Alaska, specifically only dollars dedicated to infrastructure [projects. Although the Alaskan legislature ultimately overturned her veto, she stood firm on her commitment to help Alaska to become more self-sufficient while not adding to not add to the skyrocketing national debt.
* Governor Palin invested $5 billion in state savings.
Walking the Walk on Fiscal Responsibility
*Governor Palin sold the private jet purchased by the previous governor. She state it was an unnecessary financial burden on the state and was unable to land on many of the states landing strips.
* To cut costs that would be incurred by continuing to use a personal driver like previous governors, the governor drove herself from Wasilla to her office in Anchorage. She also dismissed the governors personal chef stationed in Juneau, Alaskas capital.
* Governor Palin accepted less state per diem for herself and her family than her predecessors even though she had a larger family.

Sanctity and Dignity of All Life
* Governor Palin strongly supported both parental consent and parental notification legislation.
*Governor Palin increased educational funding for special needs children.

Positions Held while Governor
* Chairman of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission.
*Vice Chair of the National Governors Association Natural Resource Committee.
* She served as chair of the Alaska Conservation Commission, which regulates Alaskas most valuable non-renewable resources: oil and gas. She was elected by her peers to serve as president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. In this role, she worked with local, state and federal officials to promote solutions to the needs of Alaskas communities.
She exposed legal violations and conflicts of interest of Alaska Republican leaders, including the former state Attorney General and the State GOP Chairman (who was also an Oil & Gas Commissioner), who was doing work for the party on public time and supplying a lobbyist with a sensitive e-mail. Sarah Palin was Commander of the Alaska National Guard. Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the first line of defense unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. Its on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units in the United States. As governor of Alaska, Palin was briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism daily.
Governor Palin was the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security’s counterterrorism plans.
I’m not all the way there yet, but her response to the North Korea slip was absolutely brilliant. She’s got a lot of fight in her.
But I really don’t think caucus threads are the way to go in determining a nominee. Palin has the stomach to take on her critics. So should her supporters.
The Tea Party should focus on 2 things:
1. Getting rid of RINOS via primary challenges
2. Driving voter registration and turnout in:
Virginia
Ohio
Florida
Colorado
New Mexico
Iowa
I’m in, she’s my choice.
Agreed. I ordered it before it came out, and thought it was a great read. And having listened to her in various other venues, I am convinced that it was basically Sarah who wrote it, and that her co-author merely cleaned it up and polished it. Unlike Obama, who does not name a co-author but who is obviously incapable of writing either of his books.
I also ordered Sarah's forthcoming book, and Amazon just shipped it. It's in the mail! looking forward to it.
In other words, stop taking the media's word for it, whether pro or con. Listen to what the woman says. Read what she writes. She is very capable, experienced, and bright. Good values, common sense, love of family and country, and real religion.
What we need.
If/when she decides to run, HOW do we get her to be the nominee???
SO FAR she IS the front-runner, and, regardless of who likes that fact or doesn’t like it, it’s her wide popularity that is what makes winning candidates. Her viability will depend on what happens roughly in the next year or so, hinging on TWO interrelated things: how the Tea Party influence helps the Republicans re-define themselves for the better, how much of the Obama agenda they can roll back, how much of the rolled-back agenda can be negated and discredited at its core by far better Republican ideas that will not be crammed down our throats but instead given their “day in court”,(showing indisputably how the way we do things is different from the way THEY DID things) AND , most importantly , who the Democrats can come up with to challenge Sarah. I’ve always felt it would be Hillary, and I still feel that way. It won’t be Obama. Hillary should be fully positioned in a year or so to make the move.
By that time Sarah Palin’s popularity will have extended into constituencies she doesn’t own yet, or would even lay claim to. The numbers will flow to her naturally.
West or Rubio
oh no, it’s called “profiling” we use it to discriminate who we will and will not associate with - look into it.
oh, I’m all in!
