Breaking: Miller still not giving up [5:40 PST]
Alaska Dispatch ^ | 11/17/2010 | Joshua Saul

The Associated Press has called the race for Murkowski, who is expected to declare victory Wednesday night at the Laborer's Hall in Anchorage.

Here's the press release:

Miller: Integrity of the Vote is Vital

Anchorage, Alaska. November 17, 2010 -- Joe Miller, U.S. Senate candidate, anticipates the end of the vote counting in Alaska today with the tallying of the overseas ballots. With over 255,000 votes cast, less than one percent of the vote total now separates Miller and Murkowski.

In order to ensure the integrity of the election results, the Miller campaign has requested, and the Division of Elections has now granted, the opportunity to review some precinct logs from throughout the state. Miller campaign spokesman Randy DeSoto said, "Our campaign has sworn affidavits identifying unsecured ballot boxes, other precincts where numerous ballots appear to be in the same handwriting, others where there is 100% voter turnout and still other precincts where the ballots were sent to the Division of Elections presorted by U.S. Senate candidate. These and other irregularities give our campaign pause. Alaskans must be able to trust the results of its elections."

The serious question to ask is who do conservatives do about, both, the “lame duck” session of the present Congress and with Congress, during their next term, especially with the next U.S. Senate, still, controlled by leftists, from both major political parties, plus two leftist “Independent” Senators”?

Lisa MAY have won—time and lawsuits will tell IF Miller has the guts to go down fighting.

But pulling for RINOs like Lisa M or even giving her props for being as cleverly corrupt as any Democrat alienates Tea Party People and these people hold the future of America in their hands—11/2/2010 was just a taste I'm telling you.

I thought Newt was smarter than that.Hating on Palin does the same thing—you make her Tea Party base dig their heels in and that makes her (and her daughter Bristol,it seems)even more powerful and influencial.

It's like Obama's socialism has the majority of Americans in knee jerk mode and anyone who attacks their darlings are going to pay by being made LESS powerful and influential.

There are a lot of establishment Republicans (some are RINOs some are not)here on FR and they, like their favorite politicians and pundits, resent the surging popular new conservative revolution called the Tea Party and the smart ones, like Mitch McConnell, play nice with the new kids at least until the tsunami becomes a ripple (IF it ever does).

But Newt and others ain't so smart—and when they are benched during the next political season they will only have their own big dumb mouths to blame.

Newt is smart on policy but pretty dumb every time he opens his mouth. Besides, he’s not very photogenic so I’m not even sure what he’s thinking. That’s just the way it is.

Hang in there Joe. Just based on the charges presented, this battle is winnable. 100% voting in some precincts? Ballots presorted? Some of your votes not counted by the electronic voting machines? Division of Elections discerning voter intent for the write-ins, in violation of Alaskan law?

Oh yea, you got case. She and her co-conspirators are trying to steal this election. Deny them.

The GOP Palin haters led by Chairman Randy up in Alaska and Lisa Murkowski seem to have a lot of friend like Rick Santorum, Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich down here in the lower 48.

This Murkowski campaign was an opening shot of the 2012 presidential campaign where insiders will stop at nothing to stop Sarah Palin.

The GOP establishment is in collusion with the Democrats in creating ever more and bigger government, and in their feeling that only they know what's good for the people, and so the RINO GOP are determined to stamp out the upstart TEA people.

Newt had his chance but he is just another part of the problem now.

We need another 67 senators like Senator Demint ,and another 80 or 90 conservative House members to turn America back to the correct path.(A Congress of 2/3rds conservatives could really shake up the socialists and they could over-ride the Won's vetoes.)

Last I checked, the Associated Press isn’t the Elections Commission, is it?

I’m SURE the election was stolen, but that’s what happens when the conservative doesn’t win outside of the margin of fraud/litigation.

This was a WRITE-IN campaign, for Pete's sake. Do you know the odds of winning on this strategy? Joe had it in the bag according to all polls taken up to the election, well beyond any MOE. This was outright fraud; I'm sure with the help and coaching of the state Democrats.

Sounds diabolical. What exactly does this mean?

What's the Matter With Alaska?

Something in Alaska stinks. Again. Not just an ordinary low tide smell. Not like something you'd blame on the dog. It smells like an infection. For me to plug my nose, I'd have to overlook some curious facts.

I've written another piece like this. It was after the last election. I said it the three elections before that. In the words of baseball great Yogi Berra, it's Déjà vu all over again! I'm writing and talking about the same thing, in what has become an even-year ritual: Alaska doesn't count votes properly and hasn't for years. Alaska still uses the Diebold Accuvote Optical Scanners. The same Diebold machines California "decertified" because of the "Deck Zero" anomaly after the company admitted the software error plagues all versions of their paper ballot op-scan systems, deleting the first batch of scanned ballots under certain circumstances without alerting elections officials to the deletion. I wonder why some feel the need to quit before the fight is over. The DIMs love quitters. Quitters allow them to win.

I know exactly what happened. The republicans spoke on primary night. Murkowski- one of those who thinks she’s “entitled”- made a deal with the devil. DemonRATs crossed over to elect her.

Mark it here: she is going to be doing a lot of “caucasing” with the dems. Bet me.

“i guess there are a bunch of very anxious people wanting to bury joe miller and move on quickly before we get a chance to look “behind the curtain.”

Isn’t that the truth. Soldier on Joe - expose the discrepancies. Make the bureaucRATS and democRATS explain themselves in the full light of day.
